The waterfall is named after the river which is named after the french trader Francois Séguin but there are other theories. One of the other theories is that they were looking for a different river and found it and named it after the Indian word for clear water.
How it got it’s name.
Where is it ?
It is in the center of chagrin falls, a very historical town. A lot of people like to visit the falls every day!
Why did people move here ?
After Noah Graves, our founder, found the water power people started to move here from all around the country to expand business.Over time Chagrin Falls had 3 paper mills, 2 flour mills, 2 saw mills, 4 woolen mills, an axe factory and a woodenware factory.
