Taking a deep breath, opening my eyes, I walk onto the fan-filled court. Taking a warm-up shot, seeing the ball rise, I feel the excitement as I play this sport. I hear the blow of a whistle, the games about to start, Dribble dribble, I hear from the ball, Since were in the playoffs, I know in my heart, That Im going to give this my all. A quarter into the tension-filled game, And were all playing like never before, with a good ten points to my name, I acquire another two as I score. I see the ball in utmost detail, with my trademark tongue stuck out, As I shoot and swish without fail, The rest of the points Im going to score tonight, after the first quarter divided by three. i high-five my team in celebration, with another two-sevenths of my total score, Im asked to rest, my coach has chosen, But I just want to play more. Anger fills me as opposition takes the lead, Soon, I take more jump shots, which yield all the points my team needs: Two to the power of four . All the fans go crazy and wild, My teammates run up to hug me, I look at the scoreboard and smile, Now well always remember jersey number twenty-three. A great game that was long ago, A great amount of points I had. But tell me, my fan, in this game to behold, How many points did I actually score? hes number twenty-three. samantha P eza

Taking a deep breath, opening my eyes,I walk onto the fan-filled court.Taking a warm-up shot, seeing the ball rise,I feel the excitement as I play this sport.

I hear the blow of a whistle, the game’s about to start,Dribble dribble, I hear from the ball,Since we’re in the playoffs, I know in my heart,That I’m going to give this my all.

A quarter into the tension-filled game,And we’re all playing like never before, with a good ten points to my name,I acquire another two as I score.

I see the ball in utmost detail, with my trademark tongue stuck out,As I shoot and swish without fail,The rest of the points I’m going to score tonight, after the first quarter divided by three.

i high-five my team in celebration, with another two-sevenths of my total score,I’m asked to rest, my coach has chosen,But I just want to play more.

Anger fills me as opposition takes the lead,Soon, I take more jump shots, which yield all the points my team needs:Two to the power of four.

All the fans go crazy and wild,My teammates run up to hug me,I look at the scoreboard and smile,Now we’ll always remember jersey number twenty-three.

A great game that was long ago,A great amount of points I had.But tell me, my fan, in this game to behold,How many points did I actually score?

he’s number twenty-three.
