Salvador Caetano Group was born in 1946 as an industrial unit engaged in buses bodybuilding. Nowadays it is a well known and internationally in buses bodybuilding. ROBERT HUDSON was acquired in 1990 by Salvador Caetano Group, and thereforehas benefited from the experience and ability of this group, applying this know-how in Angola, always having in mind the importance of serving the clients in the best way.
The head office is placed in Luanda, where we can also find several showrooms and workshops, with all the modern equipment and technical staff.

The demands of this market points to a more aggressive competition. Therefore the company’s Management, predicting the growth of the country’s economy, has decided to build those new facilities, complying with the most modern standards ofthis activity, in a new area of the city.

This investment, around USD 6.500.000,00 (six and a half million dollars), willcertainly increase the credibility of Robert Hudson and Salvador Caetano Group.

In September 2008 we opened the new head office, in the south area of Luanda.Nevertheless, in order to maintain our presence at downtown, our present showroom and workshop will remain there.

In March 2012 we started the operation with Audi and SEAT, opening a showroom in Luanda downtown.
We have in exhibition all Audi model range, from A3 to A8 and, of course, the very important Q5 and Q7.
In terms of SEAT brand , we have available the Ibiza, Ibiza ST, Leon and Altea XL.

SALVADOR CAETANO group decided to invest in Cape Verde in the year of 1993, beginning its activity by representing TOYOTA brand, through a local company, created for that purpose, CABO VERDE MOTORS.
Considering the experience and know-how of SALVADOR Considering the experience and know-how of SALVADOR CAETANO Group it was not difficult for CABO VERDE MOTORS to be succeeded in that market, and in 1997 the company decided to enlarge the after-sales area. The building was finished in 1999, resulting in a modern area that complies with the new concepts of this activity.
In 1998, the group made an application to FORD distributor, through a new company – FORCABO.
In 2001, the company started representing the brand DAIHATSU brand.

In 2010 Salvador Caetano Group consolidated its presence in Africa, acquiring half of the operations of “Domingo Alonso” company in Cape Verde. The aim of this operation is starting a joint expansion strategy in the African continent. Since 1998, “Domingos Alonso” is present in Cape Verde, being responsible for the import of the Volkswagen, Audi and Skoda brands (purchase, sale and distribution of new vehicles, parts and accessories). This operation allows Salvador Caetano Group to increase significantly its portfolio of brands in Africa (Ford, Toyota, Daihatsu), with the new brands Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and Seat.Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and Seat.
