The main objective of this course is to provide the students with a knowledge of financial markets institutions and products. The course explains fundamental concepts and issues in financial instruments concepts and activities in different types of local and international markets. To help form a coherent view of the different variables in financial activity, markets, and their governance.
2 Firm Valuation- INV 305 The aim of this course is to familiarize students to value corporations, to the techniques for company valuation and to effective corporate management.
3 Corporate Finance- FIN302 This course will enhance understanding of basic financial theory and practices. It will address current financial management issues faced by business decision-makers. Topics covered will include: fundamental concepts of corporate finance, cost of capital, capital project evaluation methodologies, risk and return, cash flow estimation, Ratio analysis, working capital management, and dividend theories, capital structure, raising capital and mergers and acquisitions.
