Central High School is the alma mater of Hensley (1973 graduate), his grandfather (1923 graduate), his father (1950 graduate) and his son (2014 graduate). The actual size 25’-0 ¼” x 15’-3 ¼” x 7’6” high walk-in freezer’s unique configuration consisted of an “L” shape design with a three-sided column cut out which were accomplished by utilizing Thermo-Kool’s high- density DURATHANE perimeter to manufacture in 1” panel increments so there is no wasted storage space and every panel locks-in-place with no cutting or pasting necessary during the installation. To ensure “hidden costs” were avoided during the installation the walk-in freezer was preassembled at the Thermo- Kool factory prior to shipment for a thorough quality control inspection. The exterior and interior finishes of the walk-in are Stucco Galvanized with a smooth aluminum floor. The walk-in consisted of a 34” x 76” door, pressure relief vent and fluorescent lights for additional illumination. Central High School is part of the Knox County School District whose website notes the districts’ goal as Excellence for Every Child. The website also states, At the Knox County Schools, we strive to provide those educational experiences that develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes students will need to be successful members of both our local and the larger global communities. We recognize that the world is a changing and dynamic place, and our approach to providing education must constantly be reviewed and adapted to ensure we are providing our students the skills they will require to meet the challenges of tomorrow. Kevin Williams was selected Employee of the Month for October, 2014. Williams was nominated by Purchasing Supervisor, Heath Morris who stated, “Kevin has done an excellent job in leading the stockroom to become more productive through mass organization. He has maintained a positive attitude throughout this process.”

Vice President and Operations Manager, Lee Thames added, “Kevin did an outstanding job throughout the summer months to ensure that inventory was kept at adequate levels, preventing any outages which ensured a smooth production flow.” Williams has been with Thermo-Kool since June, 1997.

Sandy Procell was selected Employee of the Month for September, 2014. Procell was nominated by Sales Supervisor, Melissa Harrison. Harrison commented, “Sandy worked above and beyond the normal call of duty through the summer to take care of our customers. In addition she maintained the work load in the scheduling department when shorthanded while continuing to perform her daily tasks and assisting the sales department with freight information required by the customers.” Procell has been with Thermo-Kool since June, 2006.

Drake Young was selected Employee of the Month for December, 2014. Young was nominated by Plant Manager, Duane Eldridge who stated, “Drake arrives every morning with his day planned and ready to go to work. He hustles throughout the day to ensure that shipments are made on time. Drake has a positive attitude and passes it on to other employees.” Young has been with Thermo-Kool since August, 2014.

Victor Daniels was selected Employee of the Month for November, 2014. Daniels was nominated by Production Supervisor, Wade Adkins who stated, “Victor has done a great job in maintaining production of the foam press during the absence of the Utility Specialist. He also assists when needed in the Panel Assembly department.”

Vice President and Operations Manager, Lee Thames commented, “Victor is a key player in the Foam Department and is a true asset to Thermo-Kool.”

Daniels has been with Thermo-Kool since August, 2013.
