Sale to commence at 12 Noon following our Weekly Sale of 1200 Store Lambs

Rules:- Sale:- 1. The order of sale will be decided by ballot on Monday 12th August (pm). 2. The sale to commence after the show. 3. Registered ewes will be sold first, followed by Un-Registered & Crossbred Ewes and

then the rams. All Rams will be sold in the sale ring. 4. Requests for ram registration prior to the show must be lodged along with all

relevant breeding history and payment with Registration Officer, Miranda Wallace by Friday 2nd August. Address: 18 Elmbank, Buckfastleigh, Devon, TQ11 ODN

5. All Rams born since 2011 must be accompanied by a Pedigree Certificate (certificates for rams inspected after 3rd August will be taken to the sale directly unless otherwise requested).

6. There will be an upset price of 100 guineas for rams. 7. The seller takes responsibility for ensuring that sheep declared registered are done

so in accordance with the Association’s rules. 8. Catalogue entries. Registered rams’ individual information will be catalogued.

Information about registered ewes will be catalogued if submitted with the entry forms on a separate piece of paper.

Show:-

1. Showing to commence at 10am prompt. 2. Only registered sheep can be entered in classes 1-7. 3. Only two entries per ram class, one entry per ewe class (classes 5 to 7) per vendor

are permitted. 4. Rams entered into the show must have their lot number tied to their fleece and have

been added to the ram show list by the ring steward before entering the show ring. 5. Pens of ewes entered into the competition must be added to the ewe show list

under the appropriate class at the secretary’s table and collect a class label which must be tied to the pen by 9.30am.

Judging - To commence at 10am Ewe & Crossbred Judge – David Rogers (to be judged in the pens)

Ram Judge – Richard Mann (to be judged in the concourse)
