Niyyah

wal’ardha fataras -samaawaati lil’ladhi wajhi’ya Wajjah’tu

being ever inclined to Him

-smuka watabaaraka- wabihamdika Allaahum’ma Subhaa’naka is Thy name and blessed

and with all Praise O Allah

Holy Art Thou

ghairuka ilaa’ha walaa Jad’duka wata'alaa

except Thee worthy of worship and there is none is Thy state and exalted

Holy art Thou, O Allah, and all praise is Thine; blessed is Thy name and

exalted is Thy state and there is none worthy of worship except Thee alone.

Ta'awwudh

rajeem minashshaitaanir Billaahi A'oodhu

the accursed from Satan with Allah I seek refuge

I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed.

Thee alone do we worship, and Thee alone do we implore for help.

al-mustaqeem siraat Ih’dinaa’s

right (that is) the path Guide us in

Guide us in the right path,

'alaihim an 'amta alla’dheena Siraat

upon whom Thou hast bestowed Thy

blessings of those the path

The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings.

dhua’alleen wa la 'alaihim ilmagh’dhoobi Ghair

have gone astray and nor

(of those) upon

whom have incurred Thy displeasure not of (those)

Not of those who have incurred Thy displeasure, nor of those who have

gone astray.

wahdinee warhamnee ghfir-lee Allaahumma-

Bless, O Allah, Muhammad and the people of Muhammad, as Thou didst bless Abraham

kamaa Muhammadin aa’li wwa 'alaa Muhammadin

Majeed Hameedum in’naka Ibraaheema

Prosper, O Allah, Muhammad and the people of Muhammad as Thou didst

wwa hasanatan fid’dunyaa aa’tinaa Rab’banaa

and good in this world grant us Our Lord

na’ghfir lee Rab’banaa du 'aa wataqab’bal Rab’banaa

adhaban’naar wwaqinaa hasanatan filaakhirati

from the torment of Fire andshield us good in the hereafter

wanu’minubika wanastaghfiruka nasta‘eenuka in’naa Allahum’ma

and we believe in Thee

and we ask Thy forgiveness

beseech Thy help

we O Allah

-khaira ‘alaikal- wanuthnee ‘alaika wanatawakkalu

in the best manner Thee and we praise Thee and we trust in

ma(n)y yafjuruka

wanatruku wanakhla‘u walaanakfuruka wanashkuruka

Who disobeys Thee

and forsake him

and we cast off

and we are not ungrateful

and we thank Thee

ul ‘hisaab yaqumu yauma lil-mu'mineena wa waliwaliday’ya

Reckoning will take place the day the believers and and my parents

My Lord, make me observe Prayer and my children, too. Our Lord, bestow thy Grace on me and accept my Prayer. Our Lord grant me forgiveness and to my parents and

nusal’lee walaka na‘budu iy’yaaka Allaahum’ma

do we pray and to Thee alone

do we serve Thee alone O Allah

wanarjoo wanahfidu nas‘aa wailaika wanasjudu

and we hope for and present ourselves

we rush and towards Thee

and we prostrate ourselves

‘adhabaka in’na ‘adhabaka wanakhshaa Rahmataka

Thy chastisement

for surely Thy chastisement

and we fear Thy mercy

mulhiq bil-kuffari

overtakes the disbelievers

O Allah! We beseech Thy help and ask Thy forgiveness and believe in Thee and trust in Thee and praise Thee in the best manner; and we thank Thee and we are not ungrateful to Thee, and we cast off and forsake him who disobeys Thee. O Allah! Thee alone do we serve and to Thee alone do we pray and we prostrate ourselves; and we rush to Thee and present ourselves, and we hope for Thy

mercy and we fear Thy chastisement, for surely Thy chastisement overtakes the disbelievers.
