ST. THOMAS THE APOSTLE CEMETERY asks for your
cooperation over the next few weeks while flags and flowers are
all about the cemetery. You will notice that all of the flags are in
line and that the flowers have been placed on the flat markers.
The reason for this, as you might guess, is to facilitate mowing.
As you know, lawns must be cut quite often this time of year, and
the cemetery crew continually strives to have a beautiful cemetery
that we can all be proud of. This makes it possible to maintain the
cemetery at the level that we have become accustomed to, without
prohibitive expense. As always, thank you in advance for your
cooperation and support in regard to this matter.
SECOND COLLECTION—This weekend, our parish will take
up the Collection for the Catholic Communication Campaign.
This collection communicates the Gospel through our Catholic
Communications ministry, helping keep programs like the
Chalice of Salvation and Real to Reel on the air, as well as
continue our outreach on social media and the internet. This is a
critical and essential way in which to share our experience of
faith, worship, and witness. Please consider doing your part to
help share the Good News and support this collection. Thank you
in advance!

HEART—Attention WOMEN...Find your purpose...Feed your
soul! At last, a powerful Catholic Study just for you. Full of Grace: Women and the Abundant Life Foundational Study is being offered at the Sacred Heart Parish Center located at 1061 Springfield Street, Feeding Hills. Choose either Thursday mornings 10 a.m. to Noon or Thursday evenings 6:30 p.m.—8:30 p.m. The study begins on June 18. You’ll be nurtured and fed spiritually, mentally and emotionally. You’ll learn to embrace your gift of authentic femininity and your dignity as a daughter of God. is $40. For more information or to sign up, please call Jean Raczkowski at the Sacred Heart parish office, 786-8200, ext. 3 or email Jean at [email protected].
