Vocations ‘ Corner Thank you to our Altar Society Ministry for all your work in adorning our church and for graciously accepting the Vocations Cross for the months of February and March. Be sure to keep our adopted Seminarian, Victor Goranov in your prayers as he continues in his theology classes at St. Patrick’s Seminary. Remember also to pray daily

for an increase of vocations to the priesthood, especially for those currently discerning this call. Holy Spirit of wisdom and divine love, impart Your knowledge, understanding and counsel to youth that they may know the vocation wherein they can best serve God. Give them courage and strength to follow God’s holy will. Guide their uncertain steps, strengthen their resolutions, shield their chastity, fashion their mind, conquer their hearts,

and lead them to the vineyards where they will labor in God’s holy service. Amen

THE ST. ROSE JOURNEY IN THE SPIRIT MINISTRY

As members of the Catholic Community of St. Rose, the St. Rose Journey in the Spirit Ministry is offering monthly Grief Support Group Sessions for individuals who have experienced loss through the death of a loved one. The goal of this group is to provide a process for healing within a safe and supportive environment.

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, March 24, from 7 to 9 p.m., in the *parish house*. (please note the new location) The topic is Touchstone Three – Embrace the Uniqueness of Your Grief-part 2.

What Is the Role of Our Church in the Gabriel Project?

The role of our church community in The Gabriel Project is to meet with any woman referred to us for help, to pray with her and to assure her that Christ and our congregation love her. Our community simply responds in love by providing emotional, spiritual and material support to help her meet her needs. For the many women who are abandoned at the time of a crisis pregnancy, the church community lovingly fills the void left by a

missing family. Churches in The Gabriel Project stand ready to provide a mother with the kinds of assistance that she needs in caring for her unborn baby. This help may include: • Friendship and emotional support

• Baby sitting or providing transportation

• Medical and prenatal care

• Material or financial assistance

• Housing, educational and/or employment opportunities

• Maternity and Baby Items More than anything else, Gabriel Project Churches embrace each pregnant woman who comes to them, as their daughter, their sister, their friend.
