The summer months at HTC are a time for rest and relaxation but there are those who are coming to our schools and working hard. We are beyond grateful for our staff who put in a lot of time and elbow grease in cleaning and scrubbing every nook and cranny of our buildings. HTC also has amazing volunteers who maintain our landscaping. They go beyond just cutting grass. They plant flowers and trim everywhere. These are not simple

tasks. The care that our staff and volunteers put into our school even during the summer months is commendable. We pray that our volunteers and staff know their value and know that HTC is better because of them.

There will be an Open House, with small group tours, at the new Elementary School on Friday, August 9th from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. We invite the public to please join us!

They invite you to come be a part of this special group as you manage your grief after the loss of a loved one. Future bereavement series dates: Monday. July 29, September 30, and December 2. St. Mary’s welcomes Sophia Marie Meller the daughter of Craig and Sara (Jennings) Meller into the Catholic faith. Sophia was baptized on Sunday, June 23rd. Welcome, precious little child. So divine from God

above. Christened today in Jesus' name, Held in His arms of love. May angels guide your tiny feet and bring you smiles to wear and may our Heavenly Father always keep you in His care.

St. Mary’s received a bequest from Rita Harmeyer Estate in the amount of $2000.00 to purchase a new holy water dispenser and new vestments. May God welcome Rita into the fold of his heavenly kingdom.

This week, we will take up the Peter's Pence Collection, which provides Pope Francis with the funds he needs to carry out his charitable works around the world. The proceeds benefit our brothers and sisters on the margins of society, including victims of war, oppression, and natural disasters. Please be generous. For more information, visit www.usccb.org/peters-pence. Of all the amazing work Jesus did during His earthly ministry, only one event is narrated in all four gospels, and that is the feeding of the multitudes. In fact, there are no fewer than six accounts of crowds who gathered to hear Jesus teach, and then found themselves sharing a meal with thousands of others. We didn’t have thousands but we had a fair amount of parishioners that stayed after the 5:30 Mass on Saturday night. If you were not one of them, you missed out on good food, fellowship and games. We thank God for no rain that night and for all those who were able to attend.

“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Matthew 18:20
