THEGovernmentofSaintLucia(GOSL)hasreceivedfinancingfromtheCaribbeanDevelopmentBank(CDB)towards the cost of Natural Disaster Management –Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (Hurricane Tomas) and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds to eligible payments under a contract for which this invitation is issued.

TheProjectcomprisesconstructionofinfrastructure,including the implementation of slope stabilisation measuresalongselectedareasoftheroadnetwork,thereconstruction of drainage structures, construction ofbridges and flood mitigation measures.

GOSL through the Ministry of Infrastructure Port ServicesandTransport(MIPST),theExecutingAgency,is seeking to recruit an individual consultant to serve as Project Coordinator (PC). The PC will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring all aspects of the implementationoftheProjectincluding the following:

a) Assisting the MIPST with the procurement,administration and management of all consultants,suppliers and contractors

b) Preparing and submitting to CDB disbursement/reimbursementclaims,progressreportsandprojectcompletion reports.

The assignment isonafull-timebasisandisexpectedto be for a period of eighteen (18) months.

Prospective candidates must be civil engineers with a minimum of thefollowingqualifications:

(a) a Masters DegreeorequivalentinaCivilEngineeringdiscipline, Project Management, ConstructionManagement with aminimumof ten (10) years’experienceinthemanagementandimplementationof civil engineeringprojects;or

(b) a Bachelors Degree or equivalent in, CivilEngineering,ConstructionManagementorProjectManagementwithaminimumoffifteen(15)years’experienceinthemanagementandimplementationof civil engineeringprojects.

Specific experiencewith procurement procedures ofmultilateral lending agencies will be seen as an asset.

Consultants shall be eligible to participate if:

(a) the person is a citizen or a bona fide resident of an eligible country; and
