A reminder:
When receiving Our Lord in Holy Communion please make sure that you say Amen when the priest/ deacon or extraordinary minister say, "The Body of Christ". Then please receive our Lord. Please do not walk away with the Host. Please consume the Host as soon as you say Amen. The last several weeks we found the Sa-cred Host in the a pew and on the floor.

THE PARISH OFFICE will be closed on Wednesday, January 1st. The office will re-open on Thursday, January 2nd, at 9am. There will be a priest on duty on Wednesday in the event of an emergency.
SECOND COLLECTION – WEEKEND OF JANUARY 4 – 5, 2020 FUEL AND SNOW REMOVAL COLLECTION
Next weekend the second collection will be for the fuel and snow removal during these winter months. The heat in our new facility is fueled with propane gas. Last year we spent approximately $30,000 for propane and $15,000 for snow removal. We expect our heating costs to rise as well as the costs for plowing snow.
As you know, this collection is in place of the Monthly Ministry Collection. We are most grateful for your thoughtful consideration of these ongoing winter expenses. Please be as generous as your means allow.
Welcome to Saint Joseph’s Church Thank you for joining with us as we celebrate the Eucharist. We are happy that you gather with us today, especially if you are visiting. Our prayer is that you will find the nourishment for your faith in this beautiful house of God.

To my fellow Parishioners,
I hope this note finds you well, I just wanted to wish you and your families a wonderful Christmas and a great Holiday season with friends and family. I hope that you find an abundance of happiness, and blessings in 2020. I hope that the wonderful memo-ries that you were able to create this year will help you create even better ones in 2020. Even though I'm far away from the Parish most of the year, I al-ways think of my fellow Parishioners and pray for you all throughout the year. Remember how special others around you really are, but never forget about yourself. Until May, be well and be proud for all that you accomplished so far.
Sincerely,
One of many Joyous Parishioners

It’s Cold and Icy outside…… PLEASE be extra careful in the park-ing lots during the winter season. Fre-quently the snow piles melt during the day only to refreeze at night leaving behind some icy spots in the parking lot. The parking lots are pitched for routine drainage so this ongoing prob-lem is unavoidable. PLEASE be aware of potential icy patches when you park.
St. Joseph’s Seniors’ Christmas Luncheon will be at Primavera Restaurant on Monday, January 6 at 12:00 Noon. Reservations must be made no later than Dec. 30 with Maria Giewat [email protected]).
