Dear Parishioners, May we all have a wonderful Fourth of July weekend. This national holiday commemorates Americas independence from the British Crown and the founding of our sovereign nation. This is Americas Birthday.Happy Birthday, America. I can remember so many July Fourths: When Alaska and Hawaii became states; marching as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout in township parades; on the DC Mall with John Vickers, Roberta Flack and the National Symphony Orchestra; Fourths when I was a proud American, when I wept singing The National Anthem and America the Beautiful. I still am a proud American, even though todays America doesnt have much to be proud of anymore. So, I guess Im still a proud American IN SPITE OF what America has become; what so many of our national leaders(save one) have done to disfigure her, how her primary political parties and their mascotshave prostituted her for their own gains and made her a slave to their own godless agendas; how shes been stabbed in the back by gangs of thugs determined to rip her apart and how those thugs are vapidly fawned over by world leaders, both civil and religious. Yes, Im still a proud American, who hopes to see the true American Phoenix rise from the ashes of infamy before he dies. But, here we are in this little village, thankfully escaping the worlds scrutiny in our little church, secure, for the present, and unnoticed by evil forces that have bigger fish to fry. Please God, may that always be the case! Yes, there are small signs of hope here and there. Do you know what? Last Monday I actually walked into a restaurant, i.e., INSIDE, and was able to sit down at a booth without a mask (I never wear masks anyway) and have a civilized breakfast! It was still a little eerie, of course, what with all of these restaurant staff people mumbling behind their masks. Yes, were still hearing about Wuhan spikeshere and there. Funny, I figured we be lulled to sleep only to get WOKEto a major outbreak in time for the election when it would be, again, of course, you know whose fault. How things never change, right? Dear Parishioners,

May we all have a wonderful Fourth of July weekend.

This national holiday commemorates America’s

independence from the British Crown and the founding of our sovereign

nation. This is America’s “Birthday.” Happy Birthday, America.

I can remember so many July Fourths: When Alaska and Hawaii

became states; marching as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout in township

parades; on the DC Mall with John Vickers, Roberta Flack and the

National Symphony Orchestra; Fourths when I was a proud American,

when I wept singing The National Anthem and America the Beautiful.

I still am a proud American, even though today’s America doesn’t have

much to be proud of anymore. So, I guess I’m still a proud American IN

SPITE OF what America has become; what so many of our “national

leaders” (save one) have done to disfigure her, how her primary

political parties and their “mascots” have prostituted her for their own

gains and made her a slave to their own godless agendas; how she’s

been stabbed in the back by gangs of thugs determined to rip her apart

and how those thugs are vapidly fawned over by world “leaders,” both

civil and religious. Yes, I’m still a proud American, who hopes to see

the true American Phoenix rise from the ashes of infamy before he dies.

But, here we are in this little village, thankfully escaping the world’s

scrutiny in our little church, secure, for the present, and unnoticed by

evil forces that have bigger fish to fry. Please God, may that always be

the case!

Yes, there are small signs of hope here and there. Do you know what?

Last Monday I actually walked into a restaurant, i.e., INSIDE, and was

able to sit down at a booth – without a mask (I never wear masks

anyway) – and have a civilized breakfast! It was still a little eerie, of

course, what with all of these restaurant staff people mumbling behind

their masks.

Yes, we’re still hearing about Wuhan “spikes” here and there. Funny, I

figured we be lulled to sleep only to get “WOKE” to a major outbreak

in time for the election – when it would be, again, of course, you know

whose fault. How things never change, right? God bless.
