Baptisms

Baptisms are held on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00

PM and 2:00 PM in both churches. If you would like to

schedule a baptism, please call the rectory. New par-

ents are required to attend one Baptism Parents class.

Please call the rectory to find out when the next class

will be held and register.

Register If you would like to register with the parish, please

call the rectory on weekdays between 9am—3:30pm.

We can register you right over the telephone. Spon-

sor letters for the Sacraments of Baptism and Confir-

mation are only issued to registered members of the

parish.

Wedding

To arrange a wedding at St. Adalbert/St. Roch Parish,

consult with a priest at least six months prior to the pro-

posed date and before social arrangements. Attendance

at Pre-Cana and Natural Family Planning Classes is

required.

Anointing of the Sick

Communion to the Homebound

Please notify the Parish Office when serious illness

occurs or when the sick, aged, or incapacitated are

confined to home for an extended period. Arrange-

ments can be made to bring communion to those un-

able to attend Mass. Please contact Parish Office at #

FOOD PANTRY—Thanksgiving Baskets

We are preparing Thanksgiving baskets and need your help to fill them We would

appreciate any donations of stuffing, instant potatoes, macaroni and cheese, gravy

snacks, drinks, rice, canned fruit and cranberry sauce. Please place your donations in

one of the collection boxes in church or bring them directly to the St. Roch Rectory by

November 18. We need to assemble the baskets before our special Thanksgiving pantry.

Feast of All Saints: On Wednesday, October

31 we will have vigil masses for the Feast of

All Saints in both churches at 7pm. On Fri-

day, November 1 we will have the regular

8am mass in St. Roch Church and the regular

9am Mass in St. Adalbert Church. St. Adal-

bert school students will attend the 9am mass

in St. Adalbert Church.

St Adalbert—St Roch Parish

Christmas Fair

Join us for our Christmas Fair on Sat-

urday, November 10 from 9am—6pm in the

parish hall. We will have vendors selling

beautiful gift items, many of which are hand

made. We will also have food, baked goods,

raffle baskets and 50/50. Come and get into

the holiday spirit! We will announce the win-

ners of our Super Raffle at the fair. Don’t for-

get to get your ticket!

BASKET DONATIONS: We need basket donations for the Christmas Fair’s raffle table. We would appreciate any theme — no less than $25 value please. You can bring your donation to the rectory during office hours. Thank you in advance for your help with this year’s Christmas Fair.

St Ann Society: Will celebrate honor all deceased

members at their memorial mass in St Roch Church

on Sunday, November 4 at 9:30am.

Bus Trip: There will be a bus trip to Resorts Casino

in Atlantic City on Sunday, November 18. $40 per

person, $25 return. Coffee and rolls in parish hall at

8am, bus departs St Roch parking lot at 9am. This is

the last trip of the year, our next trip wont be until

January. Call John and Katherine (718)698-4119.

This will sell out fast, please don't delay in reserving.

Bingo: We have bingo games every Friday night in

the Parish Hall. Doors open at 5:30pm.
