Departing from Venice, arguably the most romantic city in Italy, this exceptional itinerary showcases the highlights of some of the most charming, undisturbed towns of the Adriatic. Stroll Rovinj’s medieval historic district, discover for yourself why Ravenna is often called the “mosaic city,” and soak in spectacular views of the Dalmatian Coast.

Learn the centuries-old art of handcrafting Venetian Glass from one of the many artists on the Venetian island of Murano. (Your concierge can arrange a private hands-on experience with the best of the local artisans!)

Enjoy the light sway of the canals as a gondolier steers you under the beautiful Ponte di Rialto.

Wander the cobblestone streets of Rovinj, one of the Mediterranean’s last traditional fishing ports. Explore the “mosaic city” of Ravenna, once the capital of the Byzantine Empire and now home to eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites, each of which still features spectacular Christian mosaics (hence the town’s nickname).

Tour Bari’s Basilica di San Nicola, dating back to the 11th century, and the seaside Castello Svevo, dating back to the 12th century.

Relax on the sugary white sands of one of Corfu’s many picturesque beaches, enjoying views of intense green hillsides, the bright azure of the Mediterranean Sea and the intricately gnarled branches of the wild olive trees that dot the landscape.

Discover the breathtaking splendor of the Acropolis, one of the world’s greatest cultural monuments, at sunset.

Explore the centuries-old village of Monemvasia, a charming community that, as yet, has not fallen to the lure of modernization—this is authentic, historic Greece at its most captivating.

Stroll through Corfu’s Old Town, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, observing the striking blend of Turkish, British, French and Venetian architectural styles and picking up some casual Greek phrases as you chat with friendly locals.

Explore Gaudi’s Barcelona, discovering this notable Spanish architect’s fascinating—and often awe-inspiring—legacies first-hand.
