SAHAY 2020

About Sahay SAHAY is one day summit organised by Vikasana, IIMB’s student-run social impact club, that includes luminary talks, panel discussion, and networking sessions. The aim is to bring together a diverse group of people from sectors such as health, education, energy, environment, sports, women & child development, and rural development to enable sharing of ideas, and relevant stories in the sector. Theme for Sahay 2020 ‘Reimagining the Indian development story through leadership, innovation and impact measurement’ Leading reports from the likes of World Economic Forum and Oxfam have indicated that India has a lot to improve upon in areas of education, poverty, health etc. despite a significant increase in funds, number of NGOs, and social entrepreneurs in the development sector. To leverage the opportunities presented by the increase in investment, innovations, and players effectively, there is a need for leadership that can help build sustainable and scalable organisations through strategic thinking, planning, change management etc. This in turn would help drive impactful development which needs to be based upon measurable metrics.
