DETECTION

PLACE

• Smart hard hat that can detect the severity of an impact• Functions as a hard hat to protect the head which is the most susceptible part of the body during an earthquake or disaster• Several functions are built-in to the helmet making it possible to use quickly to escape emergency situations• Lightweight product makes it easy for anyone to escape an emergency situation• Internal FM radio for broadcast reception during a disaster

• The emergency lights can be used in case one is placed in an extreme situation where there is a blackout, or the electricity has been cut off

• A beacon signal will be broadcasted in case there has been any impact to the helmet or in case the wearer has lost consciousness• There is a high rescue rate because the beacon signal is broadcast in fixed intervals during an emergency

• Use for preparedness at the office, preschools, schools, subway stations and other public facilities and public agencies used by the public• Can be kept at home in case of emergencies

• After detecting an earthquake a voice message and emergency warning will sound• A red indicator will flicker in the back to indicate the location of the helmet during an emergency

Beacon of SAGA-D

The beacon functions used in SAGA-D relays a signal on its ownwhen the wearer of the helmet has been rendered unconscious. It has a function that allows for the location of the accident victim to be determined depending on how many times the beacon alarm sounds within 1.5 seconds.

About Beacon

SAGA-DAs a ‘device for sending a signal to someone’ as the name suggeststhe beacon is a signal light. The beacon plays the role of transmitting andreceiving signals for short-range location based communication. Also, a simple internet of all things environment can be created by attachingto an object that is not equipped with an internet of all things function.
