They say that time flies when you're having fun! That's why for over a quarter century, DiVal Safety has had the time

of its life making friends and providing exceptional customer service that is second to none.

It all began in the late 1970's when two hard working entrepreneurs, Chuck

Vallone and Joe DiMaggio, rolled up their sleeves and began selling gloves.

In 1977, sales of gloves and rain suits literally moved from the trunk of their

car, to Chuck & Joe's basement. A couple years later, they moved operations

to a storefront strategically located near the mouth of the Buffalo Rapid Transit

project. Complimentary fresh donuts & hot coffee were provided to

construction workers that visited the store -- just one little example of the DiVal

way of doing "Whatever it Takes" to satisfy customers. This company attitude

has become a significant part of the corporate culture of DiVal ever since.

As the store continued to evolve, it quickly became a reputable contractor sales house. During the 1980's, the com-

pany shifted gears to become one of the dominant Northeast distributors of asbestos abatement supplies.

In the early 1990's, DiVal further expanded its operations to include an innovative retail establishment called The Home

Safety Store. Since then, the company has experienced tremendous growth. Current President CJ Vallone (Chuck's

son) and the DiVal team have been instrumental in creating several different product and service divisions. In addition

to DiVal's contractor, industrial and janitorial equipment business, the company has grown its family of services to

include the following divisions: DiVal Safety Compliance, The Safety Outlet, ShoeMobile, Equipment Rental & Repair,

Fire & EMS Supplies, Portable & Fixed Fire Repair Services, First Aid Services, and Safety Incentive Award/Advertising

Specialties.

DiVal has been doing business in Buffalo, New York since the

legendary Blizzard of '77. They have taken the safety world by

storm ever since. Today, DiVal is a premier safety distributor in

the United States. It's the people of DiVal that make the differ-

ence. Their extraordinary commitment to do "Whatever it

Takes" to keep you safe and productive on the job & off - is

unsurpassed.

Yes, time does fly when you're having fun helping others get

what they need to get their jobs done right.

Do You Approach Your Employee Safety Training as a Requirement?or

Do You Understand that the Effective Training of Employees isArguably the Most Effective Way to Keep Your Employees Safe?

Preventing injuries or accidents via engineering hazard removal or the use of PPE (PersonalProtective Equipment) is how most employers try to keep their employees out of harms way. Thefact is that the human being is the crucial and key component of all accidents. Most on the jobaccidents and injuries could be avoided.

Working 'safely' is NOT a natural human behavior. Our natural instinct is to "get the job done" -while our thoughts are that "accidents won't happen to me."

Effective Safety Training is accomplished by delivering a relevant message to the adult learnerthat addresses THEIR motivation to work safely.

DiVal Safety has taken this fundamental safetyapproach to deliver the most effective EmployeeSafety Training. It is very important to understandwhat motivates your employees to work safely -- aswell as what makes them tune out your safety trainingmessage. DiVal Safety offers a truly unique trainingstyle that is appreciated and well received by our audi-ence. We get the safety message through to youremployees.

Training and education is a journey that shouldn't takeemployees down the road to Boring!

We offer dynamic materials, real life stories & experiences, interactive sessions & workshops, a State-of-the-ArtLearning Center and a faculty of knowledgeable and enter-taining trainers that make us uniquely qualified to gobeyond your safety training expectations.

Our History...DiVal Safety has been the leader of safety and related services in New York State for over 25years. Our fresh and innovative approach to safety is unmatched in our industry. Nowhere isthat more evident than our Training & Compliance Division.

Safety Training must be relevant, entertaining and fun if it is to be effective. Otherwise, it isviewed simply as a requirement or routine that can cause employees to tune out or lose vital lifesafety messages.

There are no accidents or injuries (even in the most dangerous work settings) that don't involvethe human factor. It is your responsibility to provide your employees with a safe work environ-ment. Everyone is responsible for their own safety and the safety of their co-worker!

DiVal Safety offers a dynamic program that identifies the common mistakes trainers makeand teaches the techniques that adult learners respond to. This is an interactive programwhich will recreate your existing training programs and improve how you deliver them toyour employees.
