Supervised a 15 men team of building up and tear down of a field (TOC) tactical operations center and (BOC) base of operation. The team prepared structures and electrical systems to be placed and ready when main body arrived to link in. This process consisted of setting up tents for five main echelon of the Battalion the main being the Headquarter, S1, S2, S3, S4 and S6. This process consisted of connecting computers, phones, face monitors; back-wall monitors, lighting systems. Prep phones lines for regular and secure phone systems like DSN or NIPRNET as well as JWICS for internet and SIPRNET for secure or secret information. Certain computers which were mark secret had black shields over the computer’s monitors with red marking spelled out secret. Also false walls or boot walls were ready for Maps, status references boards, troop movement, etc. My team had 3-5 hours to set up afterwards the Signal personnel came check over our worked than configure the remaining systems before the XO called in the TOC’s was operational. Lastly safety was also a factor by making sure all personnel had some type of safety equipment like gloves, eye protection, and a helmet when the main antenna was being setup.

Supervised the training of over 300 civilian and 150 soldiers on Hazardous Storage and Waste.

Conducted formal /informal safety inspections and reported findings and recommendations as a member of the safety board.

observed fire-training system that provides multiple simulated battlefield environments for

instructing Fire Support Specialists, Joint Fires Observers and Soldiers at the institutional and

operational unit level. The CFFT is capable of training all Artillery, Type II and III close air

support, naval gunfire and mortar missions.
