SECTION 4: First aid measures
4.1. Description of first aid measuresGeneral In the assembled detonator, the mixture is enclosed in a metal case that cannot be
disassembled. If used in accordance with section 1.2, the exposition is not possible. Theexposition can occur only in case of detonation in the form of post-detonationreaction products. Detonation may cause burns and injuries. In case of any suspicion, seek medical advice.
Inhalation Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Get medicaladvice/attention.
Skin contact Shrapnel from detonation may cause burns and wounds, possibly blood poisoning. Getmedical advice/attention.
Eye contact Shrapnel from detonation may cause great damage, immediately consult an ophthalmologist.
