Safety Coordinator AppointmentEach department head shall designate a safety
coordinator.A safety coordinator must hold a position similar
to an employee in the Senior Management Service.
New safety coordinators must be appointed within 30 days of vacancy.

Interagency Advisory Council on Loss Prevention
The IAC is composed of a safety coordinator from each agency.
The IAC shall meet quarterly to discuss statewide safety and loss prevention issues.
Safety coordinators must attend.– An alternate may be sent
in his/her place.
