A survey must be undertaken in order to identify all tasks where there is the potential to fail from a height greater than 1,8 meters. The survey must record:Type of task being peformedLocation of the taskType of fail prevention or protection measures usedAny task where the potensial for failing cannot be eliminated using fail prevention measures then fail protection equipment must be proviced.The training and competency assessment system shall ensure:Competency standarts for personnel required toselect, use, inspect fail protection equipmenterect, inspect and dismatie scaffoldingoperate elevated work platforms i.e. scissor lifts, power steptraining and competency assessment for the above personnelthe recording of all training undertaken and result of competency assessmentregular re-assessment of competence and retraining when requiredAn overview of working at height safety requirement must be provided as part of the general induction program
