The White Ribbon Campaign is the largest effort in the world of men working to end male violence against women.
The local sponsored walk WALK A MILE IN THEIR SHOES, which is being held on 21st November 2015, is part
of White Ribbon Week and an opportunity for local MEN to stand up against abusers of Woman on Guernsey.
Funds raised by local Men will be donated to Safer a local domestic abuse charity to raise funds for its
work with victims of domestic abuse, which includes the cost of our Womans Refuge Home.

How to take partMen who would like to take part need to:
1. Register online at www.safer.gg.A 5 registration fee will cover our costs and further on line donations
support the work of Safer locally.
2. Sign in at 2pmon Saturday 21st November at Salerie Corner.
3. To demonstrate empathy and remain lighthearted, slip on your some feminine heels / runners / flip flops /
wellies while Safer representative explains what the Campaign is all about before . Wearing heels is NOTobligatory, your empathy to walk and donate is enough!
4. All donations are encouraged to be made online.Our Safer buckets are available on the day to take your
additional donations or send a cheque to Safers Treasurer c/o 2 Old Barn Court, Jerbourg Road, St Martin,
GY4 6BH.Cheques should be made payable to Safer LBG.
5. We are grateful that Dame Mary Perkins will start the walk at 2.30pm.
6. The walk will finish at the Guernsey Yacht Clubwhere coffee, tea, and cake will be available. Participants
can also make use of the bar in the Yacht Club.
