Caracas Bay is located on Curaçao’s southern coast, 8 km southeast of the capital Willemstad. The bay is easily accessible from the open sea and ideal for berthing large vessels and other floating objects. This makes it highly suitable for (long-term) lay-up and service calls.

Willemstad. It offers a sheltered deep bay
with clear and safe waters, making it
suitable for (long-term) lay-up and service
calls. It is ideal for carrying out
underwater services and minor repairs.

Facility/Service DetailsMooring Buoy (SMB): Located 198 m offshore at a depth of 39.6 m. The buoy is 2.7 m high and 5.48 m wide. It is chained to two shore anchors with two 120 mm stud link chains, and has two hooks to tie up the vessel. It is equipped with a load monitor. Max. DWT is 350,000.
Repair and Maintenance: Repairs can be performed using barges from Willemstad.
Cargo Cargo Facilities: Lighters can transfer cargo (limited amounts)
Bunker Service: Fuel and fresh water can be supplied from Willemstad by barge
