SCOPE:The SAE International Vehicle Electrification and Connected Vehicle Technology Forum is an event in which engineers engaged in design, development and research of advanced automotive powertrains, vehicle electrification, and vehicle connectivity, providing attendees the opportunity to learn about the technological advances, challenges and solutions faced by the mobility industry. This event brings together automotive manufacturers, xEV component suppliers, transportation authorities, automobile/transportation design consultants and automobile maintainers/sustainers to get important issues pertaining to automobile design processes from concept to production, power electronics design, motor design, energy storage management, 48V applications, fuel cells, modeling and simulation, and standardization. Special focus is given to address the trends, the challenges and the solutions of electification of automobiles and transportation and vehicvle connectivity. Presentations will cover the controls of electrified drivetrains, their control, and the integration of connectivity and autonomy and the impacts of the various systems, presented by experts from OEM, Integrators, Tier suppliers and Academia.
HIGHLIGHTS:
• Connected car, automated driving technology, driverless vehicle are the key technology of the future intellegent vehicles. The forum will analyze the future trends from the view of industry consulting, legal issues and whole industry chain.
• Senior technical directors from Continental, Delphi, NXP, Infineon, etc will make a fullscale anaylsis on the latest technology of ADAS.
• Power electronics and drive systems, electric drive motors and controls are the most important things of electrified vehicles, the experts from Volvo, AVL, IAV, Delphi, etc will share the latest technology with you.

Autonomous Vehicles: from Sensors to ADASSensors used in automotive applications are the enablers for management of practically all systems that regulate and control all issues related to emissions, cabin climate control, driveability, safety, diagnosis and powertrain automation. Sensors are required to operate under a wide range and harsh conditions and fulfill requirements of durability, reliability, accuracy, cost and be versatile for many applications. As demand for increased control, monitoring and safety increase, the use of sensors to assure meeting those objectives grow and with it, implementation of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The speakers will address how sensors make better vehicles possible, theor integration in the related systems, leading to the features and operation of ADAS.
