The term vocabulary refers to the words used in a language
Consolidate has its roots in Latin. Consolidate means bringing things together to
make something solid, stronger, or easier to handle.
Learning is also more effective when students understand the meaning of the new vocabulary.

Vocabulary is the basis of language. Vocabulary is simply the number of words
that you know. “Actions speak louder than words.” But
sometimes words speak louder than anything else.
Without grammar very little can be conveyed, without vocabulary nothing can be conveyed” Wilkins(1972)

Teacher should encourage deeper involvement with the lexis than straight translation.
Teaching vocabulary helps students to understand and communicate with others.
Teachers should train the students in dictionary using skills.
Teachers must encourage them to organize their personal vocabulary storage.
