Fatima DevotionsOur Lady appeared to three shepherd children at Fatima in Portugal for six consecutive months from May to October. The appointed day was the 13th of each month. She again requested them to pray the Rosary each day.
Oct. 13 7:00pm Sixth ApparitionEach evening of the 13th, we will pray the Rosary for world peace, the reparation for sins, and foster devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

2021/2022 Religious EducationClasses begin in October
Classes will begin on Sunday, October 24, 2021. This year, our hope is to open religious education to all grades, from the irst grade to the twelfth grade. However, this may change depending on registration numbers and space availa-bility, in which case, we may need to focus only on sacra-mental preparation. This will mean that enrollment will be open only for the preparation of First and Second Year Com-munion, and preparation for First and Second Year Con ir-mation.
In the meantime, we advise that you register your child for reli-gious education, regardless of what grade he/she may be in. We will provide the final details at the beginning of October.

Cardinal Sean O’Malley Appoints New Administrator for Sacred Hearts Parish
Effective Monday, October 4, 2021, Father Alejandro Lopez Cardinale will be the parish’s new Administrator and will remain as Pastor of Saint Benedict Parish in Somerville. Please join us in welcoming Father Alejandro to our parish community.
Cardinal Sean has assigned Father Mario to another parish. We thank God for the wonderful blessing of having Father Mario serve as administrator in our parish. We thank him for the pastoral care he has provided us, especially for his ongoing service to parishioners during the Pandemic.
We are certain that he will continue to be a blessing to all he encounters and to our Catholic Church he serves. As he has requested before, please keep Father Mario in your prayers. Father Mario’s last day at Sacred Hearts will be Sunday, October 3, 2021.

2021/2022 Educación Religiosa Clases Comienzan en Octubre
Las clases comenzaran el Domingo, 24 de Octubre del 2021. Este ano, nuestra esperanza es abrir la educacion religiosa a todos los grados, desde el primer grado hasta el duodecimo grado. Sin embargo, esto puede cambiar dependiendo de los numeros de registro y la disponibilidad de espacio, en cuyo caso, es posible que tengamos que concentrarnos solo en la preparacion sacramental. Esto signi icara que la inscripcion estara abierta solo para la preparacion de la Primera Comunion de primer y segundo ano, y la preparacion para la Con irmacion de primer y segundo ano.
Mientras tanto, le recomendamos que inscriba a su hijo/hija en la educacion religiosa, independientemente del grado en el que este. Proporcionaremos mas detalles a principios de Octubre

El Cardenal Sean O'Malley Nombra Nuevo Administrador de la Parroquia Sagrados Corazones
A partir del Lunes 4 de Octubre de 2021, el Padre Alejandro López Cardinale será el nuevo Administrador de la parroquia y permanecerá como párroco de la parroquia de San Benoito en Somerville. Démosle la bienvenida al Padre Alejandro a nuestra parroquia. El Cardenal Sean ha asignado al Padre Mario a otra parroquia. Damos gracias a Dios por habernos bendición con el Padre Mario, quien sirvió como administrador en nuestra parroquia. Agradecemos el cuidado pastoral que ha brindado a nuestra comunidad, especialmente por su servicio continuo a sus feligreses durante la Pandemia.

As you know, during these uncertain and difficult times, we continue to help families. Retirement Trust which cares for our priests. On behalf of myself and my brother priests, thank you for your support of last weekend’s Clergy Trust special collection. If you were unable to donate last week but would still like to contribute,
