We had such an amazing day with our grandparents last week! We are looking forward to seeing them all next year! It’s getting colder…please send the kiddos in layers! Those who arrived in shorts and no jackets today were chilly!

Picture Retakes: Picture retakes are Tuesday, October 8th. They will begin about 8:30am. If you have not already done so, please let the office know that your child need retakes. Either call the office or send your proof sheet from Lifetouch. We do have a list of students who did not get their picture taken this summer. If you would like to preorder, please go to mylifetouch.com. The picture pre-order code is EVTB3BGMB. It will be active through October 7th. If you don't preorder you will receive a new code when your child's proofs come in. Proofs will arrive about 3 weeks after picture day.

SCRIP NEWS: October is here and the savings are huge! Check online daily for bonus rebates and extra earnings throughout the month. Great time to stock up on cards for the holidays. :) Please have your order in by 9 a.m. Tuesday morning and cards will be sent home with your child on Thursday unless you indicated otherwise. Destination Imagination: Grade 4-8 only!

DI info is posted today and the kids have taken hard copies from the office if they are interested! There will be an informational meeting for NEW DI families only on Tuesday, October 15th at 6:30 in the cafeteria.

Halloween: We are excited our second annual Halloween Bazaar! This will be on Thursday, October 31st at 1:30 until the end of the day. Please see the sign up genius below for ways you can help! https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090E48ACA92CA6FE3-halloween1 4K Please Note: 4K students, both AM and PM, are welcome to attend with their parents. 4K students who are here in the PM (after 1:30) for daycare will be having their own Halloween events at daycare. Next week in your Family Envelope… Please watch next week’s Family Envelope for an envelope containing 10 Raffle Calendar tickets to sell as our annual fundraiser to help make up the gap between what we charge in tuition and what it actually costs Sacred Hearts School to educate each child. Every K-8 family’s participation is critical to keep us on budget for this school year and help keep future tuition increases to a minimum. Families can choose to sell each $25 ticket to family and friends through to December 17th or opt to make a tax-deductible donation of $250 to SHS and return any unused tickets. Many families opt to sell 5 and make a $125 donation. Families who only have a 4K child can purchase tickets or participate in the fundraiser by seeing their 4K teachers who will have tickets on hand. Thank you for your participation in this critical fundraiser for our school!
