Next Sunday, April 27, 2014 (Divine Mercy Sunday) these two remarkable Popes will be canonized. Here are some words of their wisdom.
Pope John XXIII (1881-1963)
Angelo Giuseppe Roncallie
“Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do.”
Pope John Paul II (1920-2005) Karol Josef Woityla
"There is no evil to be faced that Christ does not face with us. There is no enemy that Christ has not already conquered. There is no cross to bear that Christ has not already borne for us, and does not now bear with us."

Alleluia...He is Risen!
Through the gospel of John (12:24), we hear Jesus explain why he came and must die; “Amen, Amen, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains just a grain of wheat; but if it dies it produces much fruit.” During
the six weeks of Lent we were challenged to die to our sin so that we can produce bountiful fruit as disciples of Jesus Christ.
We have walked with Jesus through His passion and death. As he explained to his disciples, He came and must die so that a crop of believers would spout forth. His death was not only for the sprouting forth of believers, but to fulfill the promise, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me. In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I am you also may be.” John 14:1-3 (NAB). Alleluia He is preparing a place for each of us!
