Make an Appointment with Jesus
Eucharistic Exposition and Adoration occurs every Wednesday
at Sacred Heart beginning at noon and ending with Benediction
at 5:30 p.m. Two or more people keep regular appointments
each hour. More scheduled adorers are needed. Our Lord is

A Health Self-Management Workshop for individuals with
chronic illness will be offered by the Occupational Therapy
Department at the University of Missouri. It is free and interac-
tive. Topics covered include managing a chronic health condi-
tion in day-to-day life; stress and fatigue management; dealing
with frustration, depression, isolation and pain; sleep hygiene;
appropriate exercise for maintaining and improving physical
ability; nutrition; problem solving; communication; and appro-
priate use of medications. Participants will share experiences
and offer support to other participants. Loved ones and caregiv-
ers are invited.

in the Activity Bldg.
Are you willing to participate in this year’s Pentecost Celebra-
tion? We need your help. We are planning to have a multi-
lingual Mass and festival of food and fellowship in the activity
building. We need multi lingual readers and singers at Mass,
and entertainers at the Festival. We are also looking for as
many countries as possible to be represented in the Many
Tastes of the World by bringing food from your country.
Please wear any traditional clothing that represents your cul-
ture.

Fundraiser
The Sisters of the Most Precious Blood annual fundraiser, Night
at Busch Stadium, will be held Friday, June 1.
The Cardinals will play the Pirates at the 7:15 p.m.
game. Tickets for seats in sections 127-130 are $50 and bus
transportation is available from O’Fallon for $15.

Community Garden Update
The SHC Community Garden is about 90% planted with the
spring season crops! We are excited, and hope you will take a
stroll through and encourage the sprouts to do their thing! We
had a decoration day April 21, and will continue on Saturdays
to Paint the Town (Youth painting murals on the planting bed
outsides) as long as there is open space -- each Saturday Noon
to 2:00. Cookies provided. Do you have any Suggestions,

Job Openings at OLLIS 18-19
Our Lady of Lourdes Interparish School is seeking a part time
technology teacher for grades K-4. This individual is responsi-
ble for meeting with lower grade classes weekly and holds a
50% contract (approximately 20 hrs per week, M-F 11:20-
3:20). Applicants should be well-organized, with proficiency in
technology and computers and a working knowledge of school-
based technologies. Technology or elementary teacher certifica-
tion is preferred. All applicants will be required to complete
the application process for the Diocese of Jefferson City. Re-
