Ann & Monroe Carell Conference It is time to register for the Carell conference which will be held on Saturday, September 17th at Embassy Suites in Franklin Cool Springs. Em-bassy Suites is located at 820 Crescent Centre Drive. The conference begins at 8:30 am, with a key-note speaker, and ends at 3 pm. There will be a variety of workshops & speakers in the after-noon. If you have not seen a brochure, you may view one at wwwdioceseofnashville.com. Registration is on that same site. The conference is free as always, due to the gen-erosity of Mrs. Ann Carell. *Certifying catechists will receive 5 Notional hours + 1 hour for their reflection paper toward the required 20 notional hours! Those who are renewing certification will receive credit toward the 18 Deepening Spirituality Notional Hours required for renewal.

Loretto Sacred Heart Annual Flea Market/Bake Sale
Loretto Sacred Heart will have this event on Saturday, September 17th from 7:30 am-12:00 pm. It will be in the Sacred Heart School gym. All our parishioners are invited!
LOVE COME ALIVE: A Festival of Music for the Culture of Life
Ms. Sheri Isham of the Diocesan Office of Catechetical Formation an-nounces that this concert will be held on Saturday, September 24th at 7 pm at Rocktown in Nashville. The music of L’Angelus, Colleen McCarron Nixon, Kevin Heider, Marian Grace, & more will be fea-tured. The concert is a call for a united front in the support of the culture of life and will kick off the 40 Days for Life effort. Advance tickets may be pur-chased at lovecomealive.com. The 40 Days for Life will culminate with a prayer vigil outside the Welshwood Avenue-Harding Mall abortion clinic. Sign up to participate in the vigil at 40daysforlife.com/Nashville.
WhyCatholic Sign-up WhyCatholic groups will soon be operational again! The meetings will begin the week of Octo-ber 2nd and run through November 11th, unless otherwise announced by the group leader. This year’s study will be on Christian prayer in its many forms.
There is a sign-up sheet on the back table & we ask everyone to sign up so that each leader will know how many books to order. You may sign up this weekend (9/10 & 9/11) and next weekend (9/17 & 9/18).
Our leaders this year will be Mrs. Carol Rohling: Tuesday evenings (762-2108) and Dr. Scott Bene-field: Sunday mornings (629-3567). While we welcome back our “old” participants, newcomers are always welcome!

There will be an important meeting of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus on Mon-day, September 12th. The meeting will be at 7 pm in the Loretto Sacred Heart Parish Life Center. A vote will be taken on three items of business. Your attendance is en-couraged!!!
Our flowers today (9/10 & 9/11) are offered to the Lord in memory of George Garner.
They are placed in our sanctuary by the Gar-ner family.
