Introduction
COMP1 is a technical computation program for Sabroe refrigeration equipment that enables the user to
make thermal and mechanical sizing of Sabroe compressors, chillers, CAFPs, heat exchangers etc.

The ‘Select‘ function is a means to get an overview of available products that meet the cooling demand for your project.

Compressor Select is an easy and simple way to find a compressor that matches your demand. Step 1: Go to COMP1 front page. Step 2: Press the ’Compr. Select’ button.

Step 3: Select refrigerant. Step 4: Mark the compressor types that you want to choose from. Step 5: Decide if the capacity is to be shown for mass flow or cooling capacity. Step 6: Select grid frequency. Step 7: Select drive type (belt is for recips only). Step 8: Select high or low-stage compressor operation. Step 9: Select oil cooling for screw compressor, if screw compressor box is ticked off. Step 10: Specify operating Conditions. Step 11: Press ’Select’.

Finally import the project selection to COMP1 calculation. Step 12: Highlight the preferred selection. Step 13: Press the ’COMP1’ button.

COMP1 Template-based computation
Template-based computation is an easy and quick way to start computations to review different operating conditions and find the best compressor match. Step 1: Open COMP1 front page. Step 2: Press the ’Template’ button – and the ’Input template’ window will open. Step 3: Highlight the type of packaged unit and the type of compressor to review. In this case we look at a reciprocating compressor unit.

COMP1 Print settings
Printer settings can be user- customised. Step 1: Open COMP1 front page. Step 2: Open ’Configure’ in the menu. Step 3: Open ’Print Options’ in the COMP1 configuration window. Step 4: Select your print options. Step 5: Press the ’Save’ button. Step 6: Press the ’Save’ button.
