Lessons learned so far

• Almost all PIs run weekly meetings. Short updates from everyone for about 1 hour total

• Chen Li runs his group with code reviews. All code, data and important emails are in a wiki/CVS/bug reporting system. Useful for integration among distributed students.

• UC (in general) is an easy area for people to seredipitiously intersect. Easier to get the word of your research out.

• NUS people are already out there in all institutions. Our university name is well-known.
