the team lead with 6.0 sacks in addition to registering 76 tackles, 4 PDs and 1 FF.

• As a part of a 49ers defense that registered the first shutout on opening day in franchise history, recorded 1.0 sack vs. LAR (9/12).

• Registered 1.0 sack and 2 PDs at Sea. (9/25), giving him 47.5 sacks in his career as a 49er and breaking a tie with DT Dana Stubblefield for third on the franchise’s all-time sack list.

• Notched 9 tackles, 1.5 sacks and 1 PD at StL (9/26). Part of a defense that held the Rams offense to only 18 yds. rushing on 19 carries, the 7th best single-game defensive rushing performance in franchise history.

• Picked off Saints QB Drew Brees for his first INT of the season, and returned it 22 yds., setting up a TD pass from QB Colin Kaepernick to TE Vernon Davis. He also added 4 tackles, 1.0 sack, 1 FF, 1 FR and 1 PD at NO (11/17).
