Begin with the basics!All databases have a search box where you start your search by typing in a search term.
*A good search term is not too broad or too narrow.
*It might take a few tries before you get the result you want, so keep trying different terms until you get the result you want.
Our search gave us a definition!Many of our databases include dictionaries. Reading the definition might give you an idea of more words to use in your search.
Our databases include photographs, diagrams, graphs and charts. What every well dressed research report needs!
Some times your research topic is so fresh a newspaper or magazine article offers more information than a book from the library.
Our databases search from a huge selection of credible magazine and news papers for up to date information.
Our databases always provide citation information such as author’s name, source, publisher and date of publication.
“Quotation marks” will make sure words are searched together as a phrase.

you might get
“peanut butter” or “jelly” will result in a document containing the word “peanut butter” the word “jelly”
or both.
