Hymn Jesus Shall Reign #441 (1-5) Jesus shall reign where'er the sunDoes his successive journeys runHis kingdom stretch from shore to shoreTill moons shall wax and wane no more
To him shall endless prayer be madeAnd praises throng to crown his headHis name, like sweet perfume, shall riseWith every morning sacrifice
People and realms of every tongueDwell on his love with sweetest songAnd infant voices shall proclaimTheir early blessings on his name
Blessings abound where'er he reignsThe pris'ner leaps to lose his chainsThe weary find eternal restAnd all the sons of want are blest
Let every creature rise and bringPeculiar honors to our KingAngels descend with songs againAnd earth repeat the loud amen

Hymn Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise #38 (1-3)
Immortal, invisible, God only wiseIn light inaccessible hid from our eyesMost blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of DaysAlmighty, victorious, thy great name we praise
Unresting, unhasting and silent as lightNor wanting, nor wasting, thou rulest in mightThy justice like mountains high soaring aboveThy clouds which are fountains of goodness and love
Great Father of glory, pure Father of lightThine angels adore thee, all veiling their sightAll praise we would render; O help us to see'Tis only the splendor of light hideth thee
God Convicts, Forgives, and Restores
Scripture Reading Isaiah 27; John 15:1-11
Silent Prayer of Confession
Corporate Prayer of ConfessionOur God in heaven, if you should mark iniquities, who could stand? We know that if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. We confess our sins of pride, unrighteous anger, envy, and neglect of those duties and obligations we owe our neighbor. We are often like sheep, prone to wander from your Word, from prayer, and from fellowship with you. Father, we have sinned against you and we repent. We come to Christ, who has promised rest for our souls. We take His yoke upon us; we desire to learn from Him. Grant that we may bring forth the fruits of repentance from sincere hearts, which are precious in your sight. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon Psalm 32:1-2Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man against whom the LORD counts no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.
Hymn Speak, O Lord
Speak, O Lord, as we come to youTo receive the food of your holy wordTake your truth, plant it deep in usShape and fashion us in your likenessThat the light of Christ might be seen todayIn our acts of love and our deeds of faithSpeak, O Lord, and fulfil in usAll your purposes, for your glory
Teach us Lord full obedienceHoly reverence, true humilityTest our thoughts and our attitudesIn the radiance of your purityCause our faith to riseCause our eyes to seeYour majestic love and authorityWords of power that can never failLet their truth prevail over unbelief
Speak, O Lord, and renew our mindsHelp us grasp the heights of your plans for usTruths unchanged from the dawn of timeThat will echo down through eternityAnd by grace we’ll stand on your promisesAnd by faith we’ll walk as you walk with usSpeak, O Lord, ’til your church is builtAnd the earth is filled with Your glory
Heidelberg Catechism (1563) Q. 1Leader: What is your only comfort in life and in death?People: That I am not my own, but belong—body and soul, in life and in death—to my faithful Savior Jesus Christ. He has fully paid for all my sins with His precious blood, and has set me free from the tyranny of the devil. He also watches over me in such a way, that not a hair can fall from my head without the will of my Father in heaven: in fact, all things must work together for my salvation. Because I belong to Him, Christ—by His Holy Spirit—assures me of eternal life and makes me wholeheartedly wiling and ready, from now on to live for Him.

Hymn Here Is Love
Here is love, vast as the ocean, lovingkindness as the floodWhen the Prince of Life, our Ransom, shed for us his precious bloodWho his love will not remember, who can cease to sing his praiseHe can never be forgotten, throughout heav’n’s eternal days
On the mount of crucifixion, fountains opened deep and wideThrough the flood-gates of God’s mercy flowed a vast and gracious tideGrace and love, like mighty rivers, poured incessant from aboveAnd heav’n’s peace and perfect justice kissed the guilty world in love
Let me, all thy love accepting, love thee, ever all my daysLet me seek thy kingdom only, and my life be to thy praiseThou alone shalt be my glory, nothing in the world I seeThou hast cleansed and sanctified me, thou thyself hast set me free
In thy truth thou dost direct me by thy Spirit through thy wordAnd thy grace my need is meeting as I trust in thee, my LordOf thy fullness thou art pouring thy great love and pow’r on meWithout measure, full and boundless, drawing out my heart to thee
Benediction 2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
