15 years ago, LIJA’s President & Creative Director Linda Hipp changed the way that women wore golf apparel by introducing runway styling to the fairways. Today, her dedication to fashion remains at LIJA’s core and is infused into each piece of functional apparel for golf, tennis and training.
LIJA is known for feminine silhouettes, fine fabrics, intricate design details and beautiful colour palettes. We are a refreshing alternative to the norm with a loyal following of strong, passionate, active women who swear by our clothes as a means to express their personal style in sport.

Tennis has quickly become one of LIJA’s most popular lines, so much so, that it is even inspiring a new direction for golf. LIJA’s tennis collections are coveted for their sleek and stylish designs available in both whites and brights. This season, with silhouettes and fits created for every shape and size, LIJA has the courts covered.

“Training” can mean different things to different people, and we’ve created a line that does just the same. Our versatile garments can be used in a variety of active pursuits, with certain pieces designed specifically for enhanced comfort and functionality for run, yoga and gym. Feminine details and fashion forward styling have finally made their way into the workout wardrobe.
Though each line is unique, the common theme for spring ‘13 is that LIJA finds inspiration in all things beautiful. The “beautiful is” campaign brings that inspiration to life through eloquent words and impeccable imagery. Fitted
Designed to create body hugging curves. “Fitted” styles follow the contours of your body and provides shape and compression support.
body skimming
Created to give a little breathing room between you and your garment. “Body skimming” styles follow the contours of your body without the use of supportive compression.
relaxed
Created to provide a comfortable, flattering fit. “relaxed” styles allow you to perform with an unrestricted athletic shape.

Fabrics
rally
used primarily in our yoga line, rally is a cotton/polyester blend that features a heathered surface and works great for both warm up and cool down activities.
60% Cotton, 40% Polyester
ace
Ace features a smooth face with a textured back side that is great for warm up and cool down. 4-way stretch allows for ease of movement and recovery.
80% Nylon, 12% Polyester, 8% Spandex
sprint
Primarily used in our run lines, sprint is a light-weight fabric that provides stretch for freedom of movement. It also wicks moisture away, keeping you cool and dry.
100% Polyester
strike
strike is a light-weight knit that features a textured honey comb surface, allowing it to wick away moisture and dry quickly.
93% Nylon, 7% Spandex
calou
used throughout the s13 collection, Calou mesh is a light-weight, stretch fabric that provides more coverage than traditional mesh. The honeycomb shape of the mesh helps wick away moisture allowing for enhanced breathability and ease of movement.
94% Nylon, 6% Elasthane
sublime
used for our printed tights, sublime is a durable polyester /spandex blend that moves with you while offering moisture wicking and quick drying properties.
90% Polyester, 10% Lycra
compression
Compression is a dense nylon/lycra fabric with superior 4-way stretch that provides support in all the right places.
84% Nylon, 16% Spandex
trek
Trek is a beautiful opaque, light-weight fabric. The surface features a heathered finish that adds dimension to every outfit. This polyester/nylon fabric is compact, water repellent and wind resistant.
52% Polyester Dobby, 48% Nylon
Fuse
Fuse, our textured technical knit, is perforated and breathable, making it ideal for high performance activities. It wicks away moisture and dries quickly to keep you looking and feeling cool.
92% Nylon, 8% Elastic
ultimate
ultimate is a dense nylon/lycra fabric that offers superior stretch. It is heavier than Compression for added stability. This fabric has a brushed finish, offers body-hugging support, and is moisture wicking.
86% Nylon, 14% Spandex
glide
Glide is a beautiful translucent fabric that is so light-weight, you may even forget that you have it on! This easy-care fabric is also compact, water repellent, and wind resistant.
100% Nylon
metallic
Metallic is a wind resistant and water repellent fabric great for layering to and from workouts. The shiny metallic surface also makes a fashion forward statement.

propel
Propel is a supportive polyester/spandex blend that is both moisture wicking and quick drying.
