S-Pol has operated for 28 days (15 May to 11 June)
Major system problems S-Pol down from 05:00 to 14:48 on June 05 during
the EOP because water leaked into the pedestal electronics.
Minor system problems Replacement of the PMAC antenna controller on May
23. S-Pol was down from around 00:00 to 07:24 UTC. Replacement of the fast alternating polarization
switch on May 29. S-Pol was restored to operation after one and a half hours.

Staffing During 24 hour attended operations, we have at
least one technical staff member on site at all times. During non-IOP operations, we have technical staff at
the radar for around 8 hours each day. It is good to know about transitions to and from IOPs
about 24 hours in advance so that staff can plan their sleep schedule accordingly.
