Durkan: Comments

• Should Durkan's tender prove of interest, there are a number of points that they wish to discuss further prior to entering into contract.

• The use of a r d restriction to new installations only have been allowed for to meet BREEAIVl Good.

• Assumed that all CDM regulations and requirements of the CDM Co-ordinator have been included in the tender design and have made no allowance for CDMC appointment.

• No allowance for any specific work relating to the affected buildings or for party wall surveyor fees (client's appointment).

• Assumed that the existing adjoining construction site will maintain the existing boundary hoarding throughout the contract period.

• Allowed for demolition as detailed on contract drawings. No aiiowance for any special measures such as noise suppression or alternative demolition methodsto reduce noise,

• Allowance made for asbestos removal to the boxing club and nursery. No allowance for asbestos removal to the existinq other areas.

• Excluding UXB risk.

• No W A C or contamination testing has been completed. Assumed all wastes arising are clean/inert material in respect to muck-awav and waste transfer regulations. No aiiowance for any remediation o f t he site.

Assumed licenses will be granted to working areas where retaining structures are required to the site boundaries.

As part of the pre-commission consultations, Durkan is happy to discuss the merit o l an insurance policy to be put in place by the Clieni.
