Les églises existent depuis des millénaires…
Depuis l’an 67, sous l’autorité de l’empereur Claude NERON, certaines ont souffert de
toutes sortes de persécutions, Mais elles ont réussi à survivre.
Churches have existed for millennia. Since the year 67, under the authority of the emperor Claude Neron, some were persecuted , but they have managed to survive.

Son nom officiel est :Eglise de la
RESURRECTION du CHRIST
Elle fut construite sur l’emplacement où, le 13 mars 1881, fut assassiné le Tsar Alexandre II.
De ce tragique évènement provient le nom de “Sang versé”
The official name is the Church of the Resurrection of Christ. It was built on the spot where the Tsar Alexander 11 was assassinated. From this tragic event came the name of “The Church of the Spilled Blood”.

C’est une merveille à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur.L’intérieur est entièrement recouvert de mosaïque aux motifs religieux.

Eglise de la RESURRECTION du CHRIST
Durant la période de l’Union Soviétique, elle a subi
d’importantes dégradations.
Après la révolution russe, elle fut utilisée comme entrepôt.
30 années furent nécessaires à sa restauration
During the Soviet era, this church experienced
important degradations. After the Russian
Revolution it was used as a warehouse. Its restoration
took thirty years to accomplish.

MOSCOU - Cathédrale SAINT BASILE -Construite en 1555 à la demande du Tsar Ivan le Terrible,
c’est un joyau de l’architecture mondiale.
Moscow: Saint Basile Cathedral, built in 1555 at the request of Ivan the Terrible. It is an architectural jewel.

Selon la légende, Ivan fit arracher les yeux de l’architecte en charge de la construction,
pour que jamais il ne puisse en construire une autre pareille ou plus belle.
According to legend, Ivan had the architect's eyes put out so that he could never again build a church this beautiful.

Généralement plus connue sous le nom de : Cathédrale Saint BASILE,Son véritable nom est la cathédrale de « l’intervention de la mère de Dieu »
It is generally known as: “The Saint Basil Cathedral”. Its true name is: The Cathedral of the Intervention of
the Mother of God”.

MOSCOU Cathédrale du CHRIST SAUVEUR
En 1812, lorsque les troupes françaises furent expulsées
de Russie, le Tsar Alexandtre I fit contruire une église du nom
de “Christ Sauveur” pour exprimer à la Divine Providence
la gratitude du peuple russe, de l’avoir sauvé du désastre
que cela aurait provoquer, si Napoléon c’était emparé
de la Russie
The Cathedral of Christ the Savoir
In 1812, when the French troops were driven out of Russia, Tsar
Alexander 1 had this church built to express the gratitude of the
Russian people to God for having saved Russia from the disaster that would have occurred had Napoleon
conquered the land.

La construction dura 44 ans. Le 20 mai 1883, jour du couronnement
d’Alexandre III, elle fut ouverte au culte. Construction took 44 years to complete.

Cathédrale du CHRIST SAUVEUR
Le 5 décembre 1931, sur ordre de Staline, l’église fut dynamitée.
A son emplacement, Staline ordonna la construction du « Palais des Soviets »,
lequel devait abriter une statue de Lénine de 100 m de hauteur.
Le projet ne fut jamais réalisé.
In 1931 Stalin ordered that the church be dynamited followed by the construction of the “Palace of the Soviets” which was supposed to contain a statue of Lenin, 100 meters high. This project was never realized.

La construction de la nouvelle église débuta en 1994.Elle est en tous points semblable à celle que Staline fit détruire
Construction of the new church started in 1994. In every way it was similar to the one that Stalin destroyed.

KIEV - RUSSIECathédrale SAINT MICHEL
1919 fut l’année la plus dramatique, lorsque le régime soviétique confisqua et détruisit des
centaines d’églises.
Cette cathédrale fut détruite en 1937, et très peu de la
décoration intérieure à pu être sauvée avant
son dynamitage
1919 was the most dramatic year because the Soviet regime confiscated and destroyed hundreds of churches. This cathedral was destroyed n 1937 and very little of the interior decorations could be saved prior to it being dynamited.

Cathédrale SAINT MICHELIl fallut attendre 72 ans pour que commence sa reconstruction en l’an 2000.
Si bien que la nouvelle église n’a que 10 ans d’ancienneté
Seventy-two years later, in 2000, the church was rebuilt.

Beaucoup d’autres églises, dans les pays qui furent concernés
par les invasions, ou durant la seconde guerre mondiale, furent sauvées des destructions,
pillages et dégradations.

When Napoleon invaded Russia, in front of this alter he proclaimed that if any of his soldiers was thinking about stealing anything at all, he would kill him personally.
