Learning Resource Centre Year 6 Competition!
The LRC staff would like you to make and decorate an ORIGAMI BOOKMARK(instructions attached on the next page) to use when you join Rushcliffe in September.
Prizes will be awarded to the best designs, which should be inspired by your favourite book. You may choose to create a book character, an Emoji face, to show how the book made you feel, or perhaps an illustration or graphic design/symbol related to the story. You can use crayons, felt tip pens, paper and fabric scraps etc. but your creation should also be practical. Remember you will be using it as a bookmark so avoid very elaborate 3-D designs, for example.
IMPORTANT: On the back of your bookmark please include:
• Your name
• Year 7 form.
• The title of your book and the author if you know it.
Please photograph both the front and back of your bookmark, print this off and then bring your effort into school. There will be a box to hand your attempt into.
We are looking forward to seeing your designs and getting to know about your favourite books!
