CIRCUIT DESIGN GROUP RACETRACKS.RU

Moscow Circuit Design Group «RaceTracks» founded in 2006 by Mikhail Gorbachev and Andrey Kitov is designing and assisting design, reconstruction and homologation of modern race circuits and karting facilities. Our projects meet FIA, FIM and/or Russian (RAF) requirements.

Major services:

Master planning and 3D modeling of race circuits.

Master planning of karting facilities.

Master planning of cross and rallycross tracks.

Master planning and 3D presentations of multi-purpose facilities for technical sports and driving training

Design circuit dossiers for FIA, FIM or RAF homologation.

Development of requirements specifications and conditions for circuit planning.

Solution of all problems with design and construction of a race track.

Consultancy on safety during racing events.

DESIGNCIRCUIT PLANNING AND CONSTRUCTION TIMELINE:

1. Creation of topographical plan of land (from 2 weeks).

2. Agreement on basic race track features according to your requirements specifications (1 day).

3. Moscow Circuit Design Group “RaceTracks” staff creates master plan of a circuit (1–1.5 months).

4. Track profile is submitted to ASN and/or FIA for endorsement (1 week – 2 months). If needed we make amendments to the project according to ASN/FIA corrections.

5. Approved documentation is transformed into requirements specifications for a developer. Developer creates construction documentation (from 2 months). After governmental appraisal project initiator receives construction permit.

6. Selection of main contractor and building of a circuit (from 5 months).

RaceTracks.RU staff assists during all stages; we are solely responsible for stages 2, 3 and 4 and act as advisors for contractors during stages 5 and 6.

We’ve been advisers on design of temporary Formula-1 race track (Bavaria City Racing) around Kremlin, Mos-cow in 2008. We’ve been advisers on organization and safety plan designers for a temporary street circuit in Odessa (Ukraine) in 2010. We have prepared presenta-tion data for projects of race tracks in Irkutsk, Yaroslavl, Saint-Petersburg and Crimea. We coordinated the work on the Smolensk Ring project between track owners and Tilke Gmbh Co&KG.
