The project “Russian Switzerland” has started back in 2000 with a creation of an Internet forum for Russian-speaking residents of Switzerland

The forum development resulted in the emergence of the web page “Russians in Switzerland” later (in 2003) renamed as “Russian Switzerland” and moved to the website ruswiss.ch.

Ruswiss.ch has been rapidly developing as the place for virtual communication of Swiss Russian speakers and, simultaneously, as an information resource covering a variety of life aspects studies, work, and business activities in the country.

In April 2004, on the basis of ruswiss.ch resources, a printed Russian-language edition of the «Russian Switzerland» was launched, which subsequently turned into the monthly Swiss magazine in Russian of the same name.

By its tenth anniversary, the magazine was rebraneded. It was named «РШ» and shifted its focus to Switzerland.

IN APRIL 2004 RUSWISS.CH STARTED ITS PRINTED

In April 2004 ruswiss.ch started its

printed edition “Russian Switzerland”,

which turned into monthly Swiss

Magazine in Russian language with

the same name. In 10 years, the magazine

was rebranded.

The magazine is distributed by subscription and through the retail network throughout Switzerland. It is available at newsstands with the international press and can be ordered in some other kiosks.

The magazine is also distributed at all airports of Switzerland, at many hotels of the country, at visa centers in Moscow and St. Petersburg and other Russian cities.

«РШ» can be found in the embassies and consular departments of the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan in the cities of Bern and Geneva, as well as at Russian Orthodox churches of Geneva and Zurich, booksellers and grocery stores with a Russian-speaking clientele.
