I was inspired with glitch art combined with
this multicolored holographic distortion. The look and
feel to it was old but with the color palette I chose
for my brand, merging with this technique, I was able to
produce a book that’s something old and something new
at the same time.
With design, there’s always this battle be-
tween harmony and dissonance. But sometimes both can
create something unique, different, and unusual. This is
what this portfolio book is about. My works though may
look different from each other, have their own personal-
ity and elements that can work well with others.
This is a compilation of my best works and a
showcase of how De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde
taught me to create my own style and personality that
makes me stand out among other designers.

A senior student at De La Salle - College of
Saint Benilde taking up AB Multimedia Arts. His love for
design brought him to this school and being a scholar
and a consistent dean’s lister, he proves that when you
strive and work for something you love to do, it will all
pay off. Being a good leader and team-player, Raph can
manage his members and effectively organize projects.
He wants his team to collaborate and efficiently finish
tasks on time.
He specializes in graphic and layout design,
photography, and UI/UX design. He loves designing books,
magazines, and other print designs. He’s also into por-

trait and studio photography. His interest for the human
form ignited his passion to photograph people. Interface
design and user experience is also a field where Raph
exce in. He was taught how to effectively organize datas
and present them with clean, legible, and varied inter-
faces.
Raph is very disciplined and always want to fin-
ish tasks and deliver quality works. Though he is still
in his college years, he have already done freelance
works that allowed him not only to grow as a designer/
photographer but also as a person. He have learned how
to communicate to clients and be able to have a unified
plan of action at the end of the day. He always believes
that when a person is motivated, everything is and always
will be - possible.

want you to know who I am. It maybe the most straightforward
statement I have said but I don’t want to miss this chance
of meeting a stranger you think you have a connection with.
The questions on this book are the words I want to ask you. If
fate will give me the chance to ask these personally, I would
definitely do it and eagerly listen to your answers.

PHWho else have their own stressful weeks? This is the product of
my stressful week. Dynamic lights with grungy calligraphy will
motivate you to keep pushing and strive for greatness. The idea
was born when I was browsing through the photos I have taken
during my freshmen year. Presently, I was experimenting with
Crayola calligraphy and merging what I have taken before and
what I know now created this work. It’s a full-week wallpaper
for your laptop or desktop and your iPhone.

PHGiorgio’s Island Resort is a fictitious resort inspired by the
magnificent island of Santorini, Greece. We were tasked to cre-
ate an interface design of a resort we will invent. The design
was inspired with the place’s clean lines, elegant vibe, and
blue & white theme. The interface is a one-page website where
it features big beautiful images of the fictitious resort. It
was inspired with travel magazines and using this inspiration
and translating it to web Giorgio’s was born.

PHNuvali is an eco-friendly community located in Santa Rosa La-
guna. I was inspired with sustainable, clean, and modern feel
of the community that I translated to its website. The web-
site is composed of photos from the place, features news, and
its heritage story. The place was very calm where people can
do numerous things like jogging, studtying, and endless walk
trips. The website will be the place for people who want to
visit the place.

PHCulture Shock is a community for creative individuals who want-
ing to express themselves through fashion. We aim to show how
culture plays a big part in everyone’s lives and how fashion
helps people to show their uniqueness and ingenuity. The proj-
ect consists of a website with news and street style posts. It
has its own trailer video featuring Filipino fashion designers
and their pieces. Some of the designers featured on the video
were: Seven Weekends, Basic Movement, and Slaves of Liberty.

PHCaution mobile bar developed a new “transportainment” con-
cept of event celebration through provision of sophisticated
bus bar and mobile bar booths. These luxurious buses will
provide you a night to remember with all the possible comforts
within its interior. Company can guarantee you an awesome and
extraordinary celebration because night life never stops. The
branding of the product is fun, fresh, and hippy. The logo was
inspired with neon lights often can be seen at bars and clubs.

PHWe all go through the pain of losing someone. These collec-
tions of poems about death exposes what really it is. Death is
painful and it demands to be felt. People don’t usually think
ponder on this thought but for someone to be able to move on,
he/she must go through the pain first then follows healing and
acceptance. The photos implicitly show death and with the poems
it entail, it completes the whole concept and the direction of
this digital book.

all about. Using what the mind can do, pushing its limits, and

PHThe Little Black Book is a portfolio book by Mariane Angel R.
Riparip featuring her own illustrations, articles, and DIYs
about basic women’s clothing and turning it to something new
and fresh that will inspire girls like her to step out of their
comfort zones and try out something new with the clothes they
already have. The book is simple, straightforward, and easy on
the eyes. The book wants people to express their ownselves and
the book serving as their blank canvas.

PHThe name Isis is an Egyptian baby name. In Egypt, the meaning
of the name Isis is: Mythical goddess of magic. Isis is the
most powerful of all female goddesses; sister to Osiris. Isis
portrayed a powerful and strong woman. The shoot was taken
outdoors which gave her more liberty to express herself. The
editing done to the photos expresses a fresh, creative, and
unconventional approach.

PHProject Adam is a clothing brand for today’s men. Categorized
with different style and taste from street dapper to avant-gar-
de. The brand is made for the modern men and caters to varied
preferences. It wants to revolutionize men’s fashion brands
and create a brand that is made for everyone. Whatever style
they want. The photos were overlayed with splatter brushes that
makes the photos look inspired by street dapper and hipster
culture.

PHWords Unspoken is a collaboration of RRPH and a good friend
from Germany, Joel. Illustrations were done by Joel and the
layout and graphic design was done by RRPH. The poster consists
of German quotes with its english translation. The quotes were
motivational and the illustrations that embraces the human
form, these posters create link between every people and the
words we want to say transcends.

PHSixteen by Nine is a photography set of a studio shoot I had
using one light. The 3D effect was done to make the images
more experimental. The concept is to create something that is
two-dimensional and turn it into a three-dimensional image with
few visual changes.The photos were mostly candid and the title
was chosen since 16x9 aspect ratio is now mostly used by LCD
TVs.The editing was done to create an analog style while the
format is modern. Oh, the irony.

PHWithered is a set of album art covers that features a fictional
artist, BORN/1995. The approach done to these album covers is
grunge meeting bright colors. This approach with design es-
tablishes the artist’s genre which is indie-electronic. The
images were grainy and felt sad. It creates this mood that the
music it has is melodramatic yet the colorful overlays says
the contrary. It’s a misxture of both. It’s two completely
unfamiliar with each other and merging them.

Thank you for taking time looking through my works. These
works showed you what kind of a designer I am and what I
am good at. I’ve put much effort and passion to my works
and this book itself is a milestone for me.
I’ve always envisioned print design becoming a vital
part of digital arts and web design. I wanted to create
designs that are both print and web-friendly. Merging
this two different worlds will be my lifelong project.
If you appreciate my works and want to collaborate with
me, it would be an honor to be able to work with you and
share the things I know to my clients. I believe that
to be able to create a design that the designer and the
client wants, they should be able to collaborate and be
able to pitch in both of their ideas and create an
astonishing work.
