BARRISTER. SOLICITOR, a c.

SAULT STE.MARIECANADA

August 23, 1938,

The Hollinger Consolidated ooid Minos Ltd., Timmins, Ontario.

Dear Sir;Attention of Mr. Murdock Re; Boliden Syndicate.

I understand Mr. Atkinson was in to see tho Boliden Syn dicate claims in township 29 range 24 of the district of algoma but I have not heard anything from him.

I do not know what ho would eeo as i prosurae that the pits would bo filled with water but there should be sufficient of the sulphido ores thrown out from the pits to get sufficient samples to take an assay.

There is a rook capping over tho ore and in one of tho p'.ts we had to go down eight feet to rench tho sulphide and in the ./ther pit we had to go down twelve feet, so that samples token on the surface would not give any indication of what the sulphide body underneath would run.

We are doing some drilling at mile nine of the Michipiooteg branch at Magpie Junction for Walter Regnory. The shear at this i point is 110 feet wide, the last hole out the shear 82 feet wide. li understand that the character of this core is the came as in the for* er holes although these oores have not yet been assayed.

Walter Regnery has seen some of the sulphide ore from the Boliden property. The character of the Boliden is the same as the ore at Mile 9 although the Boliden ore ia a lot more heavily sulph- ided than where Walter Regnery is working*

you might advise me if your company is interested in this property. With kind regards i remain,

yours tru^ljr,

M/B

Mr. Aiiliura d.Maguira,

Dear Mr, llaogulre,

-UOHDiW JYHDICAT3.

The enclosed sheeta show the values obtained from t ho sampling done und'jr t ho supervision of Atkinjon,

You will note that hs failed to obtnin a single a?in gold.

He mentioned thot there were three trenches to the w o s t of r.13 sampling which needed cleaning out and which were not saa.-led.

However it looks *J though there would be little o opportunity to pick up a gold bearing orebody in the area sampled.

Thanking you for having afforded us the privilege of the examination and wishing you the best of luck,

Yours very truly,

P.d,.Atkinson has received a copy of tnoae reaultJ and any have already forwarded them on to you.
