Phil CooksonPhil’s employment law expertise covers a range of areasincluding unfair and constructive dismissal claims andredundancy situations. He also deals in regulatory crimeand Health and Safety Issues. He regularly deliverstraining sessions to employers and is a well knowncommentator in the regional press on employment lawissues. Phil trained and qualified with Roythornes andbecame a partner in 2001.

John CameronJohn qualified in 2009 and joined Roythornes in January2011. John has an employment case load that includesemployment tribunal claims for unfair dismissal, andwrongful dismissal claims. He also deals with TUPErelated issues, as well as providing advice in respect of arange of other employment disputes. John also deals withcommercial litigation cases.

Maz DannourahMaz joined Roythornes in 2007 and completed his trainingcontract in 2010, qualifying into the firm’s litigationdepartment. Maz specialises in employment law, workingclosely with Phil Cookson advising both employers andindividuals on a wide range of employment issues.
