Claire L. shared the PTA Constitution – to be adopted from Feb 2017. Unanimous agreement obtained from all re adopting the PTA Model constitution
It was agreed that a new role of ‘Comms Officer’ was required to handle Comms going forward.
Branding and new name for the PTA was agreed – PTA to be re-branded as ‘Friends of The Royal School Association’ – abbreviated as FORSA. Of those present, it was unanimously agreed.

The Royal Summer Ball – 2017
Thanks to Paul F. for doing viability report
Unanimous vote in favour of Summer Marquee Ball
Some reservations expressed re. costs and whether another Ball so close to the previous one would be successful

However – all in agreement that a Marquee event would be good – MH confirmed school would pick up 66% of the cost of the marquee
Paul F to provide further analysis on the numbers
Paul F to set up subcommittee for the Summer Ball 2017 and to lead
Bids Evening
Suggested to hold a Bids evening, open to the school community to come forward and put forward any requests for funding.
