Day Pass Social Membership

Information about your membership… Membership is dependent on your age, residential address, boat ownership and what services will fulfil your needs. If you would like to discuss your membership options or have any queries with regard to your application form, please contact our Membership Co-ordinator who will be happy to assist you. Complete the Membership Application Form Please complete all details and ensure that you sign your application form and lodge with the Squadron office. Referees Two RQYS current financial members are required to propose and second your nomination for membership. If you do not know anyone to do this we will organise a meeting with a member of Membership Committee and a Provisional Membership is offered for the first 12 months at the Squadron. It is an informal meeting which takes about 20 minutes. Payment of Entrance &/or Membership Fees Payment is required at the time of lodging your application. Monthly Instalment Option Paying Membership by Monthly Instalment is under the condition that it is paid until the end of the Squadron financial year. A Direct Debit Authority Form must be held on file and monthly instalments will be deducted from your nominated Credit Card or Bank account on or after the 27th of each month. Membership process for pending new members Provisional Membership will be issued when you lodge your application so that Squadron facilities are available to you immediately. If entry is required to the grounds from this date a Temporary Visitors Pass can be requested from the office.

Depending on the date of application, approval of your membership can take up to 6-8 weeks. Your membership application will: 1. Go to Membership Committee for approval. (Membership Committee meet on the first Thursday of the

month) 2. Go to General Committee for final approval. (General Committee meet on the last Thursday of the month) Once the approval process is complete, your personalised membership information will be sent to you by mail. Access to Fuel Access to the Squadron’s 24 hour fuel system (diesel & unleaded) is available to members through their member access pass. A Direct Debit Authority must be held at the office as fuel obtained by you will be charged directly to your account. A four-digit PIN number is required. Please advise the office of this number upon application.

The RQYS Marina accommodates up to 597 vessels in floating berths on 11 rows

Marina berth sizes are 10m, 12, 13, 13.5m + multihull, 14m, 15m + multihull, 16m + multihull,

17m, 18m + multihull, 20m, 21m, 24m, 25m, 30m and 33.5m

Berths are available for short and long term rental

Berth sub-leases available for purchase (must be or become a member of RQYS)

Power pedestals for electricity (240v single phase) and water connection – 2 boats per post

3 phase power is available at some larger berths and is metered and charged.

Depth in harbour is 2m LAT

Secure trailer boat parking spaces for trailer yachts and powerboats

Etchells, dinghy storage and tender storage spaces

Extensive car parking and the ability to park with trailer connected to vehicle
