Who's Who Nicole Alexander graduated from Texas Woman’s University in December 2011 with a major in Drama and minor in Education. She worked on props for several shows, including Boy Gets Girl, She Stoops to Conquer and Private Lives at TWU. She is currently pursuing her Texas Teaching Certification and hopes to start teaching high school soon. Sarah Barnes has spent the past two years traveling the country immersing herself in theatre. She is happy to return to Rover. She has her Bachelors in Theatre from Texas A&M University – Commerce. Sarah has worked at local theatres such as Frisco Community Theatre, Audacity Theatre Lab, and Theatre Arlington. She is enjoying being back in Texas with friends and family. Some of her friends call her Duckie. Alec Bart is a professional pianist and accompanist in the DFW area. Currently, in his last semester of study at UNT Alec divides his time between practicing, gigging, working out, and spending time with his friends. He has worked for a wide variety of theatres including Watertower Theatre, Lyric Stage, and Garland Summer Musicals. In the fall he will move to Las Vegas to continue his music studies at the graduate level with Dave Loeb at UNLV. Sara Bollinger is excited to be back with her motley crew of bandmates, with whom she has played many shows in the Metroplex. Sara has played bass for 15 years, and currently also teaches Orchestra in Denton. Some of her most memorable performances have been in Chicago, The Fantasticks, The Pirates of Penzance, and really anything that involved Alec and John. Love to W. What is better than a 3 hour cruise that results in a shipwreck? Only being shipwrecked again! Coby Cathey returns in the role of Gilligan, having played the role in Rover's original production of Gilligan's Island: the Musical. Coby's other work includes travels abroad in Rover's World Premiere of Around the World in 80 Days as Passeportout and a holiday in Tuna, Texas in Greater Lewisville Community Theater's production of A Tuna Christmas. Coby wishes to thank his kids, Cartwright and Claire, sweetheart, Megan, Mom and Dad for their support, as well as the other castaways and crew for making this an amazing shipwreck!

Heather Walker Shin is thrilled to be making her Rover debut. Favorite credits elsewhere include Mary Bailey (It's a Wonderful Life), Meg (Little Women), Maudie (To Kill a Mockingbird), Maria (Lend Me a Tenor), and Lady Macbeth (Macbeth). Heather would like to thank her husband James and son Grady for their love, encouragement, and support. Jennifer R. Sublett is excited to be performing her first DFW show on the Rover Dramawerks stage! She has also performed in shows at Austin Playhouse, the Dougherty Arts Center, the Scottish Rite Children's Theater, and the Zilker Park Beverly S. Sheffield stage in Austin. When not performing on stage, Jennifer serves as the Clinical/Training Director at Galaxy Counseling Center, a non-profit mental health counseling agency in Garland. Jesse Thaxton graduated from the University of North Texas with a BFA in fashion design. Through the years she has worked on various productions, including Little Mary Sunshine for Rover Dramawerks. Other recent productions include The Promise in Glen Rose and Hydrogen Jukebox with the Fort Worth Opera. She is excited to be back working with Rover! Mason York has been on stage and behind the scenes at several Dallas theaters, including Shakespeare Dallas, Contemporary Theatre of Dallas, Junior Players, Project: X, Upstart Productions, and Watertower Theatre. His most recent work was as Assistant Director for Hamlet at Shakespeare Dallas. He is the Operations Manager for Junior Players, a non-profit that provides free after-school arts programs for children. Mason holds a MFA in Arts & Technology from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Donald C. Cook is pleased to reprise the role of Thurston Howell III and was featured as Fleet Foot in Little Mary Sunshine for Rover. Most recently, he was featured in The Frozen Twin by Carol M. Rice at MBS Productions’ 7 Plays in 7 Days. Locally he played Alfred P Doolittle in My Fair Lady with the Rockwall Community Players. He has been featured in Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and America as a singer, actor, and dancer on stage, television and film. He played Tom in a touring company of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and has IMDb credits for television and film. Donald has worked in the corporate world in sales, marketing, training and even ran two companies in Australia as president and as a training consultant. Most recently he was a school choir director and music teacher and he is now freelancing as an actor, singer and dancer in the DFW area. Donald would like to dedicate this production and his performance to his beloved late wife, Chrisy. Fafnir Crow has been working in theater since his middle school teacher at Austin Academy inspired him to become involved. He crewed for many plays through middle school and high school. Since then, he has been part of the Scarborough Renaissance Festival cast, as well as working sound for Screams Halloween Theme Park, Bethlehem Revisited, and Last Chance Forever bird rehabilitation center. Lauren Gao is thrilled to be performing for Rover Dramawerks. You may have heard her voice as an Orchestra Singer for Garland Summer Musicals, such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Crazy for You, and All Shook Up. Previous productions include All About Love, The Boys Next Door, Broadway’s Best IV, Guys and Dolls, and many more. She would like to thank her husband, family and friends. Without their support she couldn’t share her love of music and theater!

Brian Handeland has a Bachelor of Music degree in Saxophone Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and is currently working on a Masters in Jazz Studies degree at UNT. He enjoys playing in pit orchestras and has played multiple shows for various theater companies around Western WI, including Fame, Beauty and the Beast, The World Goes 'Round, Footloose and Grey Gardens. Outside of music, Brian also enjoys running, biking, and playing poker, and is a huge baseball fan. Russell Harris is thrilled to return to the stage after a ten-year hiatus. Before coming to the Dallas area, he received his MA in Theatre from the University of Texas at Tyler, and taught acting and theatre history at Trinity Valley College in Athens where he turned in award-winning performances as William Shakespeare in Dark Lady, and as God in the Henderson County Performing Arts Center's production of Children of Eden. He has directed and acted with several theatre companies around the Central and East Texas areas. Among his more notable roles are Jesus in Godspell, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Charles Thompson in 1776, Fred Graham/Petruchio in Kiss Me, Kate!, Bill Sykes in Oliver!, Oberon in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and E. K. Hornbeck in Inherit the Wind. Russell would like to thank his special lady, Ann for her encouragement and continued support during his period of reawakening. T. Brad Hawkins has enjoyed performing several musicals with John, including Cats, The Drowsy Chaperone, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Chicago. We ALWAYS seem to have fun!! Other shows played: Annie, Oklahoma, Music Man, Cinderella, Guys and Dolls, Bye Bye Birdie, Nunsense, The Producers, Urinetown, Snoopy, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, and a few more that escape his memory. Most challenging musical: Beauty and the Beast. One player, 27 instruments. Brad lives in Denton with his lovely, talented, and understanding wife, Lisa. He has three terrific sons: Danny, Kevan, and Taylor. Abigail Kipp is glad to be designing for Rover again. She likes long walks on the beach, playing with power tools and painting with odd implements. Some of her scenic designs include Tuesdays with Morrie (New Stage Theatre), Little Mary Sunshine, The Crowd You’re in With, More Fun Than Bowling, and Sunday in New York (Rover). She once again thanks Rover for indulging her insanity on this set design. Elizabeth Lambert is proud to be performing with Rover Dramawerks for the first time. She has recently graduated from TWU with a BA in theatre with a minor in education. Some of her past performances include No Exit, The Heiress, and The Tempest at TWU. Elizabeth has performed twice at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland and also an original work in Dublin, Ireland with the Gaiety School of Acting.

Rebecca (Becki) McDonald is a graduate from Collin County Community College and UTD with a BA in performance and recently graduated with an MA in theatre (main focus directing) from Texas Woman’s University. She is pleased to have the opportunity to direct for Rover Dramawerks. She has acted, directed, and choreographed around the DFW Metroplex and in New York. Recent directing credits include: Boy Gets Girl, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, and No Exit at Texas Woman’s University, and Words with Junior Players. Recent choreography credits include: 5E: Hot Jazz, Crabs in a Bucket: The Ladder of Booker T. Washington at the Fort Worth MoMa, and Superhero with Triple J Productions. Big thanks to the cast and crew of Gilligan's and especially to her husband who tolerates the crazy antics of his theatre loving wife! Ian Moore continues his tour of suburban DFW with his first show at Rover Dramawerks. In 2011, you may or may not have seen him ablaze in white in ICT Mainstage's How to Succeed..., busting a blank verse in Stolen Shakespeare Guild's Henry V, or hacking through pretty melodies as Matt/The Boy in Onstage's The Fantasticks. Ian holds a dubious degree in philosophy from Hendrix College in Arkansas, which he put to even more dubious use to move to Dallas in August 2010 for a super top secret government job. He's glad for the luxury to do singy-dancy stuff here. "Thanks to the creative team, the cast, and everyone who continues to indulge me in this extended flight of fancy." John Norine, Jr. holds a Doctorate and Masters degree in Orchestral Conducting from the University of North Texas, where he studied under former Dallas Symphony conductor Anshel Brusilow. He has furthered his studies over the past few years at the Monteux School for Orchestral Conductors in Hancock, ME under the tutelage of Michael Jinbo. Over the past several years he has been extremely active in the musical theatre community, working all over the Metroplex as a music director and conductor with regional, community, and educational theaters. In addition, John works as an arranger and orchestrator; one of his most recent projects was a new orchestration of Paul Kletzki's Piano Concerto, Op. 22 - the work was recorded on the Naxos label and subsequently nominated for a 2010 Grammy Award (Best Instrumental Performance with Orchestra). Brooks Powers returns to Rover to design his second mainstage show in the Courtyard Theater after designing Little Mary Sunshine this past summer. He also designed Sunday in New York, The Crowd You’re in With, and Morphic Resonance in the Cox Building Playhouse for Rover. Brooks graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in technical theatre. Some other shows he has designed include A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Kimberly Akimbo, The School for Wives, and The Mercy Seat.
