1. History
Founded in 1998 after a merger of vocational institutions in the fields of business, catering and hospitality
Continues to operate in a rapidly changing environment
Education in these fields since 1941
Currently 3 sections in 2 units
Students in degree programmes about 800

2. Degree Structure
Entry after comprehensive school (9 years, age 16)
1st year basic studies 2nd year advanced professional studies 3rd year professional orientation studies
For students having completed upper secondary school, the education lasts 2 years
For students completing both Vocational Qualification and Matriculation Examination, the education lasts 4 years
Practical training: 2-3 periods, 6 months total
